Joseph Duggar’s sister, Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth, has finally spoken out about her brother’s actions and the 9-year-old victim.

Ten years ago, people found out that her older brother, Josh Duggar, had sexually abused her, along with Jill, Jessa, and Jinger. He is now serving 12.5 years in prison for getting and keeping child pornography.

Finally, Joy-Anna Duggar has broken her silence about the arrest of her younger brother, Joseph Duggar. Jill and her husband, Derick, were the first to condemn Joseph. They posted on the Dillard Family Blog. Jill and Derick want justice served and sent prayers to the victim.

Then Jessa shared a post and removed it shortly after; she has not posted again. Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband, Jeremy, made a short statement on their podcast, also condemning Joseph and sending their prayers out to the 9-year-old victim.

Jessa’s post said in part, “We found out about this sad news along with the rest of the world on Wednesday, and we are in complete shock,” she continued. “Our hearts are grieving for this innocent young girl, and we know this is deeply grievous to God, who cares tenderly for children and the vulnerable. We are keeping her in our prayers.”

Joy-Anna has posted stories of her serene property with no words, but now has finally broken her silence. Her post said:

“What has come out about my brother is heartbreaking and deeply disturbing. My heart is with the victim, and I am grieved by the pain and harm caused.” She continued with “I have been a wreck this week and am taking time to process. I have a few pre-filmed commitments that I have to post, but I will be taking some much-needed time with my family.” She then thanked fans for their prayers.

Joseph Duggar Will Be Extradited Soon
