Jennifer isn’t happy with Cat or Chad. Kate vows revenge against Xander. Anna supports Marlena.
Oh, Jennifer was mad as heck in the Friday, June 6 episode of Days of Our Lives. Her targets: Cat and, to a lesser extent, Chad. Also, Kate vowed to get revenge on Xander for what he did to Philip. Sophia, Tate, and Mrs. Choi took a tour of the labor & delivery set-up at the hospital. And Anna returned for John’s funeral. She reunited with Marlena and Carrie.
Jennifer’s Wrath
Since Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Jack (Matthew Ashford) haven’t been in Salem, Jennifer hasn’t had the chance to work out her anger issues over Cat (AnnaLynne McCord), the impostor. She pretended to be Abigail, and while she had reasons for what she did, that didn’t stop the pain from overwhelming Chad (Billy Flynn), Jack, Jennifer, and the rest of Salem, who believed Cat was Abby.
Jennifer and Jack discussed Jennifer’s feelings. After all, she was the only one who didn’t buy Cat’s con. But when Cat and a limping Chad came home from skydiving, Jennifer threw Cat out. She told her to get out of her family’s home. And then she proceeded to tear into Chad for going on a date with that woman.
Jennifer has every right to feel her feelings. And it feels more realistic that there are people who refuse to forgive or forget what Cat did. However, did Jennifer have the right to blast Chad like that? Chad has been through a lot, and he doesn’t do things lightly. At some point, she will need to see things from his perspective.
Kate’s Vengeful Vow
Kate (Lauren Koslow) vowed to get revenge on Xander (Paul Telfer), who was out on bail. But she was so adamant about it that when Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) wakes up, something tells us that he will not be in any state to identify Xander as his attacker.
Or his guilt over what he did to Xander will win out, and he won’t want to press charges against his half-brother. But that won’t stop Kate from enacting some sort of revenge. If he doesn’t go to jail, she’ll come up with another punishment.
Anna’s Back
It was really good to see Anna (Leann Hunley) back in Salem, albeit for a devastating reason. It was really nice to see her comfort Marlena (Deidre Hall) —or try to anyway. It’s hard for Marlena to let the comfort and support in, but Anna and Carrie (Christie Clark) sharing their strength with her was great and made us nostalgic.
John’s Impact Update
Even Mrs. Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) had a story to tell about John Black. Amy didn’t really know him, but he did save her one day. She told Marlena a story about when Sophia (Rachel Boyd) was graduating from kindergarten and her car got a flat tire. She thought she was going to miss her daughter’s graduation, but then John came along and helped her out. And she made it.
John touched just about everyone in Salem in a positive, heroic way, didn’t he?
One Burning Question
Here’s the same question we have been asking for a while: What is going on with Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) manuscript? Kate had it in the hospital and accidentally left it there to go check on her son. Anna read a little of it, and so did Mrs. Choi. What’s going on?
