General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show finally confirmed what most fans suspected by now. In the December 9 episode, a flashback proved that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is indeed the person behind Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) fatal digitalis overdose.
Of course, Cyrus can’t get away with this, so we have to consider who’ll make him pay once the truth comes out. It’s possible Cyrus could go back to prison, but that feels like a “been there, done that” storyline.
It’d be far more interesting if another GH character finally wiped Cyrus off the map! Although it’d be a shame to lose Jeff Kober’s talent, perhaps it’s time to end Cyrus’ run for good.
Why should Cyrus get to live when Sam didn’t? On soaps, sometimes you need a balancing of the scales for real justice to happen.
Plus, it’s tough to imagine any scenario where Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) let Cyrus live if they uncover his fatal actions.
Since Sonny already had his big moment of taking out Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington), Jason might take the lead here.
It’s easy to imagine Jason wanting to pull the trigger himself and avenge Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death.
That could be mostly because of Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and the pain he’s had to endure. It’s been hard for Jason to watch Danny grieve for his mother and wonder why he had to lose Sam so unexpectedly.
Once Jason realizes Cyrus is the reason for Danny’s sorrow, that could certainly fuel a vengeful move against him.
Jason might also worry that Cyrus could do something to hurt Danny next since he’s clearly a dangerous nutjob who can’t be trusted.
On top of all Jason’s difficult Danny emotions, he had an amazing love story with Sam once upon a time.
Jason will always carry a piece of Sam in his heart, so he may not be able to rest until Cyrus pays with his life!
General Hospital spoilers say Jason could take matters into his own hands, so stick with us updates on any revenge news and more predictions on what Jason might do.
