Stefan was shocked and angered when he realized Gabi and EJ danced between the sheets on the
September 4 episode of Days of Our Lives. Plus, fake Abby is almost caught, and more is revealed about
her.
Gabi Lit a Powderkeg
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) woke up in bed with EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) and started to have second thoughts about rubbing the fact that they slept together in Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) face. But he was looking around for his estranged wife and barged into EJ’s room to ask if he knew where she was and found her in there.
At first, he thought his brother was using her to get revenge, but EJ said, “More like the other way around.” Confused, it wasn’t until a little while later that he saw some of her clothes on the floor (which she was trying to kick under the bed) and put two and two together, and she admitted to seducing EJ. (Learn more about Gabi’s revenge plot.
Before you knew it, it was ‘Wham! Pow! Biff!’ like an episode of Batman. Okay, it was just one punch (with no onomatopoeia appearing in the air), but Stefan nailed EJ square on the jaw. Stefan told Gabi he had made one stupid mistake, but what she had done was calculated and premeditated.
She asked, “So, does that mean you’ve given up fighting for us?” Stefan replied that’s exactly what he meant. She was glad he found them because she didn’t want a repeat of how he kept hidden the fact that he slept with Ava (Tamara Braun) while she was in prison. Gabi also told Stefan that EJ was better in bed than him, just as his bro walked in with a smug look.
A powder keg has been lit, and the fireworks are just starting. It will be interesting to see how Stefan plans to get revenge on Gabi and EJ. His brother doesn’t have much left except his job as district attorney, but his wife has Gabi Chic. Since Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) has been (somewhat) nice to him recently, he may team up with her to take both of them down.
Fabby Has a Mysterious Past
Fake Abby (AnnaLynne McCord), or Fabby, was on the phone with Mark (Jonah Robinson) and was talking about “the next steps” in their plan, as Stephanie (Abigail Klein) happened to be in the doorway (Does nobody ever close a door to have private conversations on these shows?). Steph asked her what she was talking about, and Fabby made up a story about talking to Kayla (Marybeth Evans) about her treatment plan.
Later, Kayla mentioned that she had no such plan with Fabby, and only Steve (Stephen Nichols) raised an eyebrow about it — hinting that he’ll probably be looking a little more closely at Fabby and her story.
We also learned that Fabby and Mark aren’t lovers, they’re brother and sister! That took a moment to sink in for us as we shooed away the urge to say, “Ewww!” Considering Mark’s brother Aaron (Louis Tomeo) was bebopping around the hospital and apologized for lying about lacrosse camp, he must not know he has an auntie Fabby.
Otherwise, Mark wouldn’t have brought her to Salem to impersonate the dead Abby. The brother and sister con artist team reminds us of Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty) brother Colin (Jasper Newman) and his need to exact vengeance on Paulina (Jackée Harry) and Chanel (Raven Bowens).
Mark was relieved to learn that Chad had moved out of the DiMera mansion and back home, so whatever plot they’re cooking up may have something to do more with the DiMeras than with Chad. As Fabby’s story unfolds, it’s clear that she’s not one hundred percent comfortable with it, and if things start to get out of control, she could become the weak link and blab their secret plan to everyone.
