Let’s begin with one of today’s lighter storylines — Xander and Sarah are finally embracing some happiness. After all the chaos they’ve endured, they’re planning a romantic getaway — one they’re calling a “belated honeymoon.” Sarah, bubbling with excitement, rattles off tropical destinations to Xander, dreaming of beachside bliss and Mediterranean adventures. And for a moment, it seems like love and laughter are all that’s in store.

But in Salem, peace is always temporary. Their romantic escape may start as a dream, but it’s destined to take a dramatic turn. Sarah has been keeping a secret — one that could shatter the trust they’ve worked so hard to rebuild. She’s known for a while about the forged letter that Vivian used to stir trouble, and although she hasn’t come clean yet, this vacation might just be the tipping point.

Meanwhile, Kristen DiMera is about to unleash her fury. She’s been lying low — but that’s about to change. She hasn’t forgotten how Xander and Philip staged a covert corporate takeover of DiMera Enterprises while EJ was in a coma. Kristen had played a key role in Sarah’s recovery, pressuring Dr. Rolf to provide a serum that miraculously reversed her paralysis. She gave Sarah the treatment with no strings attached — but she expected loyalty in return. Now that Xander’s betrayed her business interests, Kristen might just remind him that Sarah owes her everything.

Could Kristen really retaliate by threatening Sarah’s ability to walk again? With Dr. Rolf lurking in the background, anything is possible. If Kristen decides to revoke her “generosity,” Sarah could face a terrifying relapse. And just as Sarah and Xander find themselves soaking in the glow of a romantic vacation, the shadow of betrayal may rear its ugly head.

Over on the other side of town, JJ Deveraux is dealing with a storm of his own. He’s haunted by the way he handled things with Gabi Hernandez. He rushed to judgment, treating her like the prime suspect in the EJ shooting at the Salem PD — even though the evidence against her was far from concrete. Now, plagued by regret, JJ is hoping to fix the damage. But Gabi isn’t making it easy.

Gabi continues to be evasive, hiding her shady visit to the DiMera mansion. When she told JJ to talk to her lawyer instead of answering questions directly, it was a clear sign that she doesn’t entirely trust him anymore. As JJ works on a plan to win her back, he may uncover more than he bargained for — and this could tear them apart for good.

As for Rafe Hernandez, he’s no stranger to heartbreak either. After misinterpreting a scene between Jada and Shawn Brady, Rafe jumped to conclusions and ran right back into the arms of Sami Brady. Now, Jada feels blindsided and betrayed, furious over Rafe’s actions and in desperate need of space. Though Rafe might try to give her that, it’s clear he’s hoping for reconciliation. Whether Jada will be willing to forgive remains uncertain.

Interestingly, Jada might start leaning on Shawn for support — and their connection could deepen. Is a new romance in the making?

Elsewhere, young love stirs as Tate Black invites Sophia Choi to prom. She’s thrilled by the gesture and quickly falls even harder for him. However, Tate’s previous relationship with Holly Jonas makes things messy. Though Holly and Tate are no longer an item, Sophia’s new role in his life might stir some jealousy. Fortunately, Doug Williams III steps in as a supportive friend and maybe even more to Holly, adding an unexpected twist to this teenage triangle.

In a surprising confrontation, Kristen bursts into Xander’s world with accusations and veiled threats. She reminds him that Sarah is only able to walk today because of her — a fact that shouldn’t be forgotten. Xander brushes it off as “just business,” but Kristen doesn’t see things that way. To her, everything is personal. Could she and Dr. Rolf have another plan up their sleeves?

Meanwhile, JJ faces a difficult professional decision. The police suspect Kristen might be linked to the shooting — but JJ isn’t convinced she’s guilty. He’s waiting on ballistics to confirm the gun match, but he also has his own doubts. As part of his investigation, JJ must now question Gabi directly — who just so happens to be his girlfriend. When he asks her about her alibi, Gabi gets defensive, escalating the tension between them.

Could this interrogation mark the beginning of the end for JJ and Gabi?

Back at the DiMera mansion, power struggles continue to simmer. Philip and Xander may have pulled off their takeover, but it’s cost them more than they know. Kristen’s wrath, Sarah’s secrets, and the looming question of loyalty may send this house of cards crashing down.

And to top it all off, Sami Brady and Rafe’s romantic rekindling may not be as smooth as it seems. Javi Hernandez inadvertently interrupts their moment of passion, only to learn that Rafe’s cousin is dating Leo Stark — a fact that Sami finds incredibly disturbing. Expect some harsh words and fierce warnings as Sami questions Leo’s role in Javi’s life.

So much drama is unfolding in Salem, and this vacation of Xander and Sarah’s might be remembered for all the wrong reasons. Will Kristen’s vengeance ruin their romantic escape? Will Sarah’s truth finally come to light? And is Salem ready for all the chaos that’s coming next?
