After a day of battling over their children, the December 30, 2024 episode of General Hospital ended with a heartstopper for Sonny and Lulu.

Oh, Shoot

Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) reunion with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) came to a halt when Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) barged into the cafe. But things quickly took a turn when Charlotte thanked him for letting her see her mom, assuring Lulu that Valentin was okay with the situation. The two parents kept things civil as they argued over why Charlotte should remain with them, and Valentin’s biggest point shocked Lulu.

When Valentin informed her that their daughter had been shot last year, Lulu was thankful for Charlotte’s recovery, but still insistent on Charlotte returning to Port Charles with her. The two continued arguing over it as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) sneaked in and asked Charlotte if she wanted to leave with him.

Things came to a head when Valentin noticed Dante and accused Lulu of setting him up. As the three adults fought over Charlotte, an unknown shooter lurked on the building across from the cafe, aiming their gun at Valentin.

Man Down

After Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) mysterious chest pain on Christmas, he was back at it bickering with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) over Kristina (Kate Mansi). When Alexis asked him to take Charley’s back from their daughter, he argued that Kristina needs something to focus on after the devastating year she had. He promised to keep her safe before heading to Volonino’s, but as he practiced his boxing, his pain return. He winced, gripping his chest as he fell to the floor of the boxing ring, all alone in the gym.
