Tensions are rising in EastEnders this week as Suki Panesar(Balvinder Sopal) becomes increasingly desperate to stop granddaughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) from terminating her pregnancy, all while keeping a life-altering secret from wife Eve Unwin(Heather Peace).

After learning that Avani is expecting a baby, Suki was quick to interfere. Haunted by her past decisions and determined to right old wrongs, she begs Avani to let her raise the child herself.
