Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon sparked debate among fans as she recently shared a photograph of her baby bump. The Bethany Platt actress shared some snaps of her holiday to Portugal with her family.
The soap star is in a happy relationship with footballer Ryan Ledson. They welcomed their first child into the world in 2023 when Lucy gave birth to their baby boy, Sonny. The couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Nancy, into the world in January.
Lucy regularly updates fans of her life off-screen to her almost 600,000 followers on Instagram. She recently shared a selection of snaps of their luxurious family trip to Portugal.
However, it was a photograph that Lucy shared to her story which confused her followers. She reshared her post from last summer when she was wearing an elegant white co-ord while clinging on to her baby bump.
Without realising it was a flashback post, fans immediately thought she was expecting another little one. But the next snap showed Lucy wearing the same two-piece set while cradling her now six month-old Nancy.
Fans who hadn’t clicked through the star’s post didn’t realise she was showcasing a heartfelt moment to show how fast time flies. She captured her motherhood journey with the song ‘Night Changes’ by One Direction.
The lyrics said: “Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes” as Lucy wore the same outfit a year on from her pregnancy photo.
Soon after the initial post, Lucy quickly added to her story for a third time to reassure her followers that she wasn’t expecting another baby. She took a selfie while holding a bottle of Whispering Angel rose wine, writing: “Not pregnant again guys do not panic.”
Lucy is currently away from her role as Bethany on maternity leave after she gave birth to Nancy. However, she is expected to return to screens later this year.
The actress has previously spoken about feeling forever changed by motherhood. She told out sister site, OK!: “We can’t really remember life before Sonny – it feels like a blur.
“Sonny is the image of Ryan, especially when he’s grumpy! He’s too young for us to know his personality just yet, but he seems quite chilled overall.
“He only really cries when he needs his nappy changing, which Ryan has taken on as his nighttime job – he’s become a pro nappy changer!
