While viewers know that Mack met a shocking fate in the John Sugden killer storyline this week, his loved ones believe that he’s sulking in London following tensions with Charity.
In Monday’s episode (25 August), Ross comes to see Charity at Jacob’s Fold, questioning whether Mack left her after finding out about them sleeping together.
As far as Ross is concerned, it all adds to his theory that he’s the father of the baby that Charity is carrying for her granddaughter Sarah. He even wonders whether Mack discovered this before scarpering.
Already at her limit, Charity kicks Ross out. Hit play below for a first look at the scene:
Speaking recently about the new storyline, Michael Parr – who plays Ross – commented: “Nobody should trust Charity – she’s a menace!
“I think he’s desperate to find out the answer, because having another child comes with such responsibility. It’s a lot of pressure on him, because he’s not doing so well with work right now and his living situation isn’t ideal as he’s always swapping and changing.
“Plus he’s just met his brother Lewis. There’s a lot going on for him in his head, so he just needs to get to the bottom of this, so he can get a good night’s sleep.”
Elsewhere in the village, Moira Dingle gets a shock when she finds out that Dylan Penders was one of the thugs who broke into Butlers a few weeks ago.
Fiercely protective over her family, Moira takes revenge on Dylan for scaring her stepson Kyle. Wanting to give him a taste of his own medicine, she grabs a pitchfork…
