EastEnders’ Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) is poised to return to Walford this week after an extended break – but she’s set to arrive home amid further unhappiness for her mum Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Lily was last seen leaving Albert Square to spend time with her biological father Ryan Malloy (Neil McDermott) back in May.

Her exit had followed a particularly fraught period in her relationship with Stacey, who’d struggled to step up as a parent amid her grief for her beloved Martin Fowler (James Bye) following his death in the Queen Vic explosion earlier this year.

While Stacey has since managed to get her life back on track, fresh drama kicks off just as she is preparing to welcome Lily home.

Forthcoming scenes see Stacey’s excitement at her daughter’s homecoming short-lived when Jean and Freddie Slater (Gillian Wright and Bobby Brazier) reveal that someone leaked her SecretCam pictures and videos online.

Fans of the BBC soap will remember that Stacey started making adult content on a subscription platform when she was struggling to make ends meet back in 2023, which also led to her gaining a stalker in the form of creepy teacher Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).

Horrified that the images have now been leaked, Stacey quickly concludes that Joel Marshall (Max Murray) is responsible following his recent behaviour.

Last week saw the teenage incel start plotting revenge against Stacey for slapping him after he unleashed a vile rant about her past and Lily’s teenage pregnancy

A furious Stacey confronts Joel with her suspicions, but his dad Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) rushes him home, where Joel protests his innocence.

But Stacey is still convinced he is to blame and reports him to the police.

What consequences will Joel face, and will Lily be there to support her mum through her latest trauma?
