EastEnders has confirmed the outcome of Kim Fox and Howie Danes’ relationship after their split last year. The couple parted ways in late 2025 after Anthony Trueman exposed Howie’s crimes, including the fact he stole the ring that he to Kim proposed with.

Kim was left horrified by the revelations, including his blackmailing of Oscar after the attack on Patrick, and while Howie pleaded that his actions were done to give her a better life, Kim defiantly told him that she was “done”.

However, tonight’s episode – which is now on BBC iPlayer – sees the pair appear to get back on the right track again, especially after Howie’s attempts this week to get in her good books – including helping Patrick through his grief over Anthony.

During a chat with Patrick, Howie admits he told Kim that he missed her, Patrick realising that it explains why her mood was “so giddy” at the time.

“It’s time man,” he advises Howie. “Stop wasting seconds dancing around each other. Strike whilst the iron is hot.”

Later on, Howie tries to put on “the works” at The Albert in a bid to impress Kim, though Patrick is surprised at the effort, admitting he was thinking of something more small-scale.

“I need to make a splash, I need to show her how much she means to me,” Howie declares.

At the salon, Denise teases Kim over how her and Howie seem to be getting closer again, and as part of Howie’s surprise, Patrick walks in and offers to take the two out for a drink. However, they’re taken aback when he suggests The Albert and that they wear “something sparkly”.

At the bar, Kim is delighted when two drag queens appear on stage, though she is shocked to see Howie join them to serenade her, and quickly storms out.

Following her outside the bar, Howie says he wanted to do “something special” to show he “cared”, though Kim is concerned over how much money he spent on the stunt.

“You were with Patrick yesterday, and I saw you do what everyone else failed to do – you brought him out of the dark,” she tells him. “That’s the Howie that I fell in love with! The Howie that would stand by his family, the Howie that I could trust. Not this flashy Howie.”

Howie then responds: “You know the Kim I love? I love all of her. The bright, beautiful, funny Kim that everyone always sees. The Kim that would fight to the death for her family. The Kim that took my son under her wing.

“You know the Kim I miss the most? When she’s vulnerable, when she tells me her fears, her hopes and her dreams. The Kim I can learn from, the Kim that makes me want to be a better man.”

In a moment of comic relief, Kim gets Chelsea to start filming the heartfelt moment for her influencer career, as Howie admits he “gets things wrong” and promises to be “a better man”.

“You’re the love of my life Kim Fox, and I miss you so much,” he declares. “Please give me another chance.”

After a long wait – which Kim admits is a “dramatic pause” for her content – the newly-reunited couple share a kiss to the cheers of everyone else. Kim then rushes off, quipping that she wants to get her money’s worth from the drag queen karaoke at The Albert.

Is this the start of a new chapter for the couple?
