Monday September 23, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Summer lends a supportive ear to Chelsea, Cole assures Victoria that he’s back
for good, and Audra encourages Sally by praising the thrill of revenge.
Friday’s recap: Sharon informs Mariah that she’s going off the grid, while Adam tells Chelsea they might have a future together as a couple.

While at the GCAC, Cole notices that Victoria seems troubled. She expresses concern that she’s taking advantage of him, admitting that she’s always trying to sort things out.
Cole tells her she can lean on him. With a sigh, Victoria shares that her family is causing her stress, especially her dad’s actions against the father of her children.
She proposed a compromise, but her father rejected it, insisting on a more aggressive approach.
Cole asks if she’s truly considering going against her father, warning that it could have serious consequences for her entire family.
She can’t handle her kids having to watch their grandfather humiliate their father in public. She also worries how Billy will react if she warns him.
He urges her to follow her maternal instincts. She needs to convince Billy to protect herself.
Cole will help her with any fallout. She doubts there’s anything he can do to protect her from her father’s wrath.
She’s impressed that he doesn’t seem threatened by her dad and actually seems fond of him. He says you just need to stand your ground.
Victoria thanks him for listening and urging her to do the right thing. She feels lucky to have him back in her life.
But she wonders if he will get bored and go back to his old life. He says he’s missed out on too many years with her and Claire.
He jokes about how she must have imagined his life in England. It was just a job that went on and on and never amounted to much.
Now he’s back in a world he never thought was possible and doesn’t think he could live without it.
Audra meets with Sally in the park. the redhead wishes they ere meeting over drinks and beats herself up about Adam.
He doesn’t deserve any more space in her life. They complain about all his lies and Audra urges her to cut him out of her heart.
Sally doesn’t know how to do that after Ava. Audra says she needs to get tough and fake it until it’s true.
Sally doesn’t want to shut down her feelings. What they had was real and good in many ways.
She’s afraid that shutting down her feelings means she may never be able to fall in love again.
Audra says that would be the best case scenario. Not caring is the best revenge.
Spectra thinks revenge is a way of caring. Audra says it just shows you care that people know you are not be messed with.
Revenge is also fun. It gave her so much joy to steal the company from Tucker. Kyle is next.
When she is done with him, he will never forget who she is. He’s trying to sabotage her and he won’t succeed.
Sally is afraid to ask but asks her next move. Audra is determined to have him booted out.
The Spectra can hear what she’s saying, but she’s not interested in revenge.
Audra will just wish Chelsea and Adam misery from afar.
Sally explains that things are going great at work and she’s been bonding with Billy.
Audra assumes that means revenge sex but Sally says that will never happen.
At Society, Billy gets in Adam’s face and demand to know what he said that drove Chelsea out of there.
When Billy grabs Adam’s arm, the Newman clocks him, sending him flying over a table to the floor.

Billy gets up and grabs Adam by the throat. Adam urges him to punch but Phyllis tells Billy it’s not worth it.
CBS
He storms out with her trailing behind him.
When Billy and Phyllis get to the office, he admits part of him is thankful she stopped him from fighting. The bigger part of him wanted to put Adam through a window.
CBS
She says this was the right move and fighting Adam right now is nor the right move. She’s there to protect him.
He admits the punch hurt. She gets him an ice pack.
CBS
Phyllis recaps the fight for him and points out that this proves his feelings for Chelsea are stronger than he’s admitting.
Billy thinks it only proves he stands up against dirt bags. She’s sure he’s ready to forgive Chelsea but he says she’s wrong.
CBS
She reminds him they have all committed infidelity. He repeats this was with his worst enemy.
Phyllis tells him she’s hated people to the point of violence, but it never made her feel better.
She thinks they are wasting their time on this and need to look at what’s next.
CBS
He brings up Lily backstabbing him and wonders if she would be in cahoots with Devon. Phyllis doubts it. It seems like more of a Victor thing.
He’ll concede that. They need to offer Odyssey 7 a sweeter deal.
CBS
Victoria shows up and notices Billy’s swollen face. She assumes Phyllis had something to do with it but she insists she was the voice of reason.
CBS
Victoria asks to speak to him in private. Once Phyllis is gone, Victoria makes Billy a proposition.
She warns her father is about to make a move against his company. He already knows.
Victoria wants to prevent an all-out war for the sake of the kids and thinks he should consider that as well.
CBS
He’s determined to take the company to the top and show the kids he can fight for what he loves.
She offers a compromise solution. She offers a huge payout for Abbott Chancellor. That would let him launch his own company.
He assumes her father must have a secret weapon. Is she working to sabotage him?
CBS
She insists she’s there for the sake of their kids. He wonders why she automatically thinks he’ll lose to her father.
Billy knows how far her father will go and points out she’s risking her career by warning him.
He asks why her father is coming after him now. What’s really going on?
CBS
She can’t tell him and warns he’s going to lose. “You’re dead wrong,” he says.
Victoria begs him to concentrate on business and not let things get personal and drag the kids in.
He doesn’t want them in the crossfire either but that seems unlikely. She guesses he won’t compromise and walks out.
Phyllis returns and he tells her about Victoria’s offer. She asks if he’d consider it at the right price.

He won’t sell. This is his chance to prove himself and he won’t be bullied into walking away.
If Victor wants a war, he will get one and regret it. That’s the Billy Phyllis knows. She’s all-in.

Chelsea rushes into Crimson Lights. Summer asks if she’s okay. She looks like she’s on the run.
CBS
Chelsea admits she’s just running from her feelings. They talk about Connor and Summer tells her how proud she should be of how she’s handled that.
She urges her to confide in her. Chelsea doesn’t want to take advantage.
CBS
Summer pushes her to let her be a friendly ear.
“My life has just been one stupid mistake after another,” Chelsea says, explaining she and Billy broke up and it’s all her fault.

Summer gets her some pastry and reminds her that Billy is a screw-up and can’t judge anyone.
Chelsea lists all the considerate things Billy had done for Connor. Her friend is sure that proves he still cares for her.

Adam walks in and asks if he can have a few minutes with Chelsea.
CBS
Once Summer leaves, Chelsea tells Adam she doesn’t want to hear more of what he said at Society.
He tells her how sorry he is for making her uncomfortable.
