An individual who has been stalking EastEnders star Ellie Dadd has been jailed after breaching her restraining order. Dadd joined the soap back in 2022, taking over the role of Amy Mitchell.
According to The Sun, 21-year-old Cora Upple, who is from Kent, became obsessed with the actor and has been bombarding her with hundreds of messages on social media over the past two years.
In December 2024, Upple was given a nine-month suspended sentence and a restraining order instructing her to stay away from Dadd. However, she then began targeting Dadd’s mother Nicola Gibberd on social media.

The star reportedly felt “threatened” by Upple’s actions, and begged police officers to help.
Appearing at Maidstone Crown Court, Upple admitted to breaching her restraining order. She received a jail sentence of 81 weeks and her restraining order was extended to March 2031.
Prosecutor Alban Brahimi said: “The victim in this matter indirectly is Ellie Dadd, an actress on EastEnders, portraying Amy Mitchell.
“While she understands there was fan attraction, this fan became obsessive not just in her character but in herself as an individual.”
He continued: “The defendant was made clear not to follow or tag Ellie Dadd or any family m
embers.
“But there were two deliberate attempts after those conditions were imposed where she has followed the accounts of Nicola Gibberd.”
