After years of anticipation and updates, Janelle Brown has officially moved into her newly constructed home in North Carolina! The Sister Wives star is embarking on a new chapter, and she’s giving fans a peek into her beautiful new abode.
Janelle documented her whirlwind move-in week with an exciting Instagram Reel, offering followers a glimpse inside her new home with a captivating video tour. Her cross-country move comes after ending her plural marriage with Sister Wives co-star Kody Brown.
“Ok so last week ended up being one for the books,” Janelle shared in her caption. “I didn’t plan to travel to Mexico the same week I closed on, and moved into my house, but it ended up that way.”
She revealed that she spent four days in “beautiful” Cancun on a trip with her former sister wife Christine Brown, Christine’s husband David Woolley, and another friend. Janelle noted that they almost canceled the trip due to recent unrest but decided to proceed after consulting the State Department website and monitoring flights from the Cancun airport. She included snapshots of her sightseeing and soaking up the sun during her vacation.
Then came the moment she had been waiting for – getting the keys to her new home and finally moving in. “I am tired today and there is so much still left to do. But I am so happy and so excited,” she exclaimed in her caption.

In a previous post, Janelle offered a first look inside the home after sharing updates on its development over the past couple of years. “Today is the day! My house is finished. Here is what it looks like walking in,” she captioned the video.

The primary bedroom overlooks the front porch and features an attached bathroom. The bathroom is a luxurious space with dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a separate shower.
Janelle’s new North Carolina home is situated on a 156-acre plot of land that she purchased with her daughter Madison Brush and son-in-law Caleb Brush. The trio founded Taeda Farms with the motto “building beauty from the ground up”. Janelle mentioned that her daughter’s house would be located approximately 100 yards away, creating a close-knit family compound.
