Trina is at The Surf Lodge. Two guys are talking at a table nearby. One is a ball player who says he needs

to stretch his legs, as they are sore after practice. He gets up and runs into Trina, who spills two glasses of

soda on him. She apologizes, but he says it’s his fault as he bumped into her. She says she’s so sorry again and rushes over to Joss, who is sitting at a table.

The guy sits back down with his friend and can’t seem to take his eyes off Trina. Over at Joss and Trina’s table, Joss tells Trina that was Kai Taylor, PCU’s new star quarterback that just transferred to their school that she ran into. Trina wracks her brain because she knows that name.

She walks over to Kai, her tone changes, and she has a problem with him. He never bothered to attend their art history class or work on their group project, which she emailed him about, and now it has affected her grade. Kai had no idea he was taking art history, as he has a tutor who signs him up for his classes. Trina angrily assumes that he has a tutor who also does his work for him just because he throws the football around. Kai’s friend says they are going to the playoffs because of Kai, and he doesn’t have time for art class. Trina can see that and storms off.

Trina returns to Joss and vents, while Kai calls his tutor to find out what class he’s enrolled in. He refuses to mess up Trina’s grade. Kai’s friend storms off in a huff after calling art class stupid.

Liz meets with Jason at The Brown Dog bar to see how he’s dealing with Sam’s death. He says it doesn’t feel real yet, but he needs to do what is best for Danny. He doesn’t know if he should find a place for them to live or if Danny should stay with Scout.

Liz thinks Sam would want Scout, Danny and Rocco to stay together as they really became a family. She asks where the kids are now. He says the Quartermaines, so Liz suggests he move in with them to be there for Danny.

At the hospital, Laura and Lucky meet with Portia, who says Lulu’s recovery so far has been a success. She showing no signs of rejecting the liver transplant, and she can be transferred to a long care facility in about two weeks. Laura says they are going to send her to Turning Woods after friends suggested it to them.

Laura and Lucky exit Portia’s office, and Laura admits she doesn’t want to send Lulu into long-term care, but keep her here with her.

Laura visits with Lulu alone and tells her she’s not giving up on her and never will. She tells Lulu that visiting her just lying in this bed hasn’t been easy, and they have a debt to pay, because part of Sam lives on inside of her. Laura tells her that Sam’s gift can’t have been in vain, so it is time for her to wake up!

Robert checks in with Diane at her office. She goads him for going MIA on her for days. Robert explains he didn’t mean to drop off the face of the earth. Diane tells him to let her speak, as she will make this a lot easier on him. She says she likes him, but reminds him when she agreed to give this relationship a try, she insisted she come first. She treated this like a contract, but love isn’t a contract, and he’s still in love with Holly and not her. She tells him this isn’t a bad thing, so not to think of it that way, as love is never wrong.

Robert insists he loves her, and Diane believes that. However, Sam’s death has opened her eyes, and she doesn’t want to be someone’s consolation prize. Robert iargues that’s not what she is. Diane says she deserves someone who looks at her the way he looks at Holly. She says her advice to him is for him to find Holly and make it work because he deserves happiness too. A saddened Robert walks out, and Diane breaks down.

Holly shows up at Anna’s office to talk to her, but Anna doesn’t want to hear anything from her after the mess she’s made in Port Charles. She tells her to go to Robert if she needs rescuing. Holly eplains she can’t go to Robert, she needs Anna’s help as she’s about to disappear.  Holly still has one of the diamonds, and it’s her best chance at staying alive. Anna assumes Sidwell will come after her, but Holly’s not worried about him. She must fence this for cash to get a seat at a high-stakes poker game. Anna says she needs to play this smart and invest in blue chips, bonds and stocks. Holly doesn’t have that time, as she owes a huge debt to a criminal syndicate. Anna knows if she doesn’t pay them she’s as good as dead. Holly says, “Not just me, Robert too, and our daughter.”

Holly says she only got into this trouble by freelancing for the WSB. Anna believes they should call Brennan. Holly just came from him, and the WSB doesn’t feel liable for her losses, and he could only offer her a ride out of town. Anna realizes that is why she got hooked up with Sidwell. Holly says it was supposed to be her biggest score. With the money from the diamonds, she was going to take care of Ethan and Sasha and maybe retire to Italy. Anna doubts she’ll ever retire. Anna won’t fence this diamond for her. Holly says she’ll handle that, but she needs Anna to look after Robert.

Anna thinks fleeing to Europe is too dangerous, and she’s far safer here, where she has resources. Holly can’t risk bringing more danger to Sasha’s doorstep, and she’s ruined her life enough times. Holly knows this is her narrative; she drops in and out, but she loves Robert. That’s why she wants Anna to look after him. Anna would look after Robert regardless as he’s family. Anna suggests she be honest with Robert for once and tell him the truth. If she can’t, then at least tell him goodbye, which she owes him.

Holly goes to Robert’s office, but he’s not there. She sits at his desk, grabs a pen and a piece of paper, and begins writing a letter. In it she says there’s never been a moment she hasn’t loved anyone more than she loves him right now. She hates saying goodbye again, but she must. She signs it, “My love for you, always, Holly.” She then kisses the letter.

Across town, Lucky heads to The Brown Dog and joins Liz. He says he and his mom were just at the hospital getting an update on Lulu. He wishes Lulu’s life didn’t cost Sam hers. Lucky tells Liz that Lulu is stable and doesn’t need him, so he’s thinking of heading back to Africa. Lucky says, “I’m sorry, Elizabeth, I can’t stay here in Port Charles. I hope you understand.”

Liz fumes, and can’t believe he’s running away again. Lucky says he came home to save Lulu, and he never planned to stay permanently. She says Sam died a hero to save Lulu, and what Sam and her children wouldn’t give to have one more hour with each other. And here he is, hopping on a plane to abandon his child again! She says he won’t get any understanding from her, and God forbid he picks that loving boy over his next adventure. She storms out.

Anna meets Diane at the bar. Diane sent her an SOS, and Anna assumes this has to do with Robert. Diane says is does, and asks if one ever gets over losing him. Anna says Robert does leave an impact, but her life will go on. Anna guesses this has to do with Holly. Diane doesn’t understand the hold that woman has over him. Diane tells him about her conversation with Robert and their break-up. Anna suggests she rethink that as Holly is leaving town tonight.

Jason heads to the Quartermaines and runs into Danny in the kitchen. Jason wanted to check on him. Danny says he and Scout have always spent much time here at the Qs, but it was only temporary, and they’d always go back home. Now he doesn’t know where home is without mom. Danny says Rocco overheard Grandma Alexis talking to Olivia, and Grandma Alexis wants them to live with her. Jason asks Danny what he wants. Danny wants to stay with Scout and Rocco, but if they can’t stay here, could he come live with him?

Jason tells Danny they don’t have to make any big decisions right now. Danny agrees there is a lot to think about. Jason says he knows his mom would want him and Scout to be together. Danny agrees, and Scout needs him now with their mom gone. Jason says he’ll talk to Alexis, Drew and Dante and they’ll do right by all of them. However, no matter where they live, Danny has him and he’s not leaving.

Holly heads to the airport and calls Sasha. She leaves her a message, telling her that she has to leave town, but to get to know Robert as he’s a good man. She’s sorry she can’t stay, but she knows her daughter is strong and will find her own way. She has to leave to keep her safe and hopes she can forgive her one day. She tells Sasha she loves her, and one day they’ll meet again.

The pilot tells Holly she needs to board so they can take off. She calls Robert, who answers and got her note and can’t believe she’d leave without seeing him. Holly explains that she went to his office but he wasn’t there. He tells her to turn around, and there stands Robert. She wonders how he knew where to find her. He made a call to Brennan and knows everything. Robert tells her that he’s not here to say goodbye, as he’s going with her. He refuses to miss any more time with her, and they kiss. However, he promises her that this will be a roundtrip ticket. They then board the plane together.

Next on General Hospital, Curtis reveals to Portia  that Drew is going to make him the permanent CEO of Aurora. Gio tells Chase, “How’s it going bro?” Sasha exclaims, “You knew?” Alexis tells Kristina she couldn’t agree with anything more. At the bar, Michael vents to Jason that he’s afraid she’ll say there is no future for them. At Drew’s campaign event, Maxie asks Nina if she’s told Willow that she slept with Drew. Drew tells Willow that she always knows what to say. Carly asks Brennan, “Does that mean you are using me now?”
