Emmerdale fans will have to wait to find out Ruby Miligan’s fate, as the soap won’t be on our screens today.
In a change to the regular schedule, Emmerdale will not be airing at 7.30pm on ITV1 tonight, and the early release episode won’t be available to stream on ITVX.
This shake up is due to the UEFA Women’s Nations League, which is being broadcast on ITV1 from 5.30pm. Coverage of the Spain V England football match is scheduled to end at 8:20pm.
Fortunately, the schedule change won’t mean any less Emmerdale content this week, as the soap will be back on screens on Wednesday (4 June). The hour-long episode will make up for Tuesday’s absence and will air at an earlier time of 7pm on ITV1.

As always, Thursday’s (5 June) instalment will also air for an hour but will begin at the earlier time of 7pm, with the British Soap Awards scheduled to follow at 8pm. On Friday, Emmerdale will return to its usual broadcast slot of 7.30pm.
The next episode of Emmerdale will explore the aftermath of Monday’s shocking cliffhanger, which saw Ruby Miligan confessing to killing her father Anthony Fox.

Following the discovery of a dead body in the dredged lake, Ruby, Cain Dingle, Caleb Miligan and Chas Dingle feared their cover up of Anthony’s death would soon come to light.
In last night’s episode, the group continued to spiral as they became convinced that the body did, in fact, belong to Anthony. Ruby and Caleb agreed to flee the village, but when the latter began planning their escape, Ruby left a note and slipped out.
In the final scenes, Ruby made a full confession at the police station, admitting to her father’s murder. With the dead body actually belonging to Nate Robinson, will Ruby regret her decision to confess?
