Emmerdale‘s Dylan Penders fell back on old habits in tonight’s episode.
During his dramatic return to the ITV soap a few weeks ago, Dylan broke into Moira’s farm and scared her stepson Kyle. Now, despite wanting to leave his criminal life behind, his recent actions have caught up with him.

The latest episode saw Dylan doing well as a new staff member at The Woolpack. “I feel like I’m turning my life around,” he told Chas, who seemed impressed by his work ethic.
However, when Moira swung by and asked Chas if she could borrow Dylan to help her out at the farm, things started to turn sour.
At the barn, Moira locked herself inside with Dylan and revealed that she knew he was one of the thugs. While she threatened him with a pitchfork, April and Marlon showed up at the scene to calm her down.
Back at the bar, Chas was furious after learning about Dylan’s actions. She confronted Paddy and Mandy, who invited Dylan into their home despite knowing the truth, telling them to kick him out as soon as possible.
Paddy tried to defend the teenager, saying he just needs a bit of support, but ended up giving into Chas’ demands when she made clear their daughter Eve was not allowed near their house as long as Dylan was there.
“Eve has to be our priority now,” Mandy told Paddy, settling the issue.
Later in the episode, Paddy broke the news to Dylan, who was disappointed but quickly thanked him for his support. Paddy arranged for him to stay in a hostel for a month until he is back on his feet.
Worried that Dylan will relapse if he lives in a hostel, April suggested he reached out to drug dealer Ray again, only to get the cash he needs to start over.
In the last scene, Dylan jumped into Ray’s car, with an uncertain future ahead of him.
