Coronation Street has confirmed Shona’s fate after she was kidnapped by criminals working for Harvey Gaskell.
Viewers will know that the Platt family are in danger after David stole dirty money that belonged to Harvey and his half-brother Damon Hay.
In tonight’s (January 27) episode, Shona left the house unaware that a man was following her in a van. When the van sped off, Shona was nowhere to be seen.
From the back of the van Shona kicked the door and screamed for help but nobody could hear her.
Meanwhile, David found out that Shona hadn’t turned up to work at the café so he went to the police station, where he told Kit that he thinks Harvey is responsible for kidnapping Shona and previously injuring their dog.
Back at home David told Sarah and Max that he stole Damon’s money to buy the house. When David admitted he was scared for Shona’s safety, Shona returned home in tears.
A traumatised Shona told David, Sarah and Max about the ordeal, warning them that nobody in the family is safe, saying: “They’re watching us and if they don’t get that money back soon, I don’t know what they’re going to do.”
Shona refused to make a statement to Kit, saying she didn’t see anyone’s face and wants to forget it happened.

Later, David, Shona and Max heard an air gun followed by breaking glass and ducked for cover. Looking at the damage, Shona told David off for grassing Harvey up.
Sarah agreed to let the family stay with her for safety and David said he would find somewhere else to stay as Harvey is after him.
Finally, David called in at Nick’s flat, saying that unless he can come up with the money for Harvey, his whole family is in danger.
“I know if I don’t come up with summat quick, not only am I dead man walking but every single member of this family’s gonna end up having a target on their back. Young and old. It won’t make a difference,” he said.
