The CBS soap vet recently sat down with TV Insider and announced that he’s not stepping away anytime soon! Additionally, what was meant to be a three-month stint for Braeden’s Victor got a forty years long run. It indeed made Braeden the very heart of Y&R.
Meanwhile, the actor has had some health battles, which sparked chatter about his potential departure. But Eric won’t be leaving us anytime soon. He says, “I will not, I don’t want to.” He admitted to “doing really well.” And guess what? Thanks to a new knee that lets him hit power squats, Eric is even keeping up with workouts!
Furthermore, “The [bladder] cancer is under control, and I will have another cystoscopy in about a month,” he revealed. And let us tell you that it’s not just Eric’s dedication that makes Victor so special. Earlier, Braeden shared a touching appreciation for head writer Josh Griffith and the Y&R crew. He described them as “the hardest-working people.”
In addition, Braeden gave a nod to his co-stars for keeping the drama sizzling. These include Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Mark Grossman (Adam), Peter Bergman (Jack), and Amelia Heinle (Victoria). His recent IG post with Melissa Ordway Gaston (Abby) and Allison Lanier (Summer) proves how much Eric loves this team.
