A lot is coming up on this beloved show, which starts its 60th season soon. Recently, DAYS learned it was renewed for its upcoming 61st season. Viewers will watch as DAYS marks its 59th

anniversary on November 8, 2024. On that day, Belle (Martha Madison) and Paul (Christopher Sean) return to celebrate Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John’s (Drake Hogestyn) wedding anniversary.

Additionally, Doug’s (Bill Hayes) funeral and the 15,000th episode milestone. Many Salemites will return to say goodbye to the Williams patriarch. It is going to be a big winter full of poignant moments and a sad goodbye. Look for this episode to be on or near December 3.

Plus, at Day of DAYS, the soap also revealed its 60th season trailer, which shows a lot of excitement, including family gatherings at Thanksgiving and moments by a Christmas tree. Expect to see Jada (Elia Cantu) and Rafe (Galen Gering) get engaged.

Amid lots of romance, there will also be some difficult moments, such as Doug’s funeral, which is mentioned above. Marlena also realizes John is missing, setting off a huge search for him. Salem University Hospital is at risk of shutting down, and it may be a difficult fight for Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and others to save it.
