On National Daughters Day, LaRue joked on social media, “If I say what I really feel about this beauty, she’ll say it’s ‘cringy.’ So… I love you… mind, heart and soul. That’s it. Carry on.” When Kaya graduated from Arizona State U, Mom remarked, “I have never been more proud, SweetPea! No need to try to fit in when you were born to stand out!”
In addition to All My Children, LaRue has worked extensively in primetime and was even a regular on CSI: Miami for years. After winning a 2020 Outstanding Guest Performer Emmy for The Young and the Restless (where she briefly played Celeste Rosales), she returned to daytime full-time in 2024 as she took on the role of Natalia Rogers-Ramirez on General Hospital.
