General Hospital Spoilers report Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) has been salivating over Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) ever since their first kiss on Independence Day last summer. While a handful of fans seem to be cool with the transition from Willow’s family life with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to whatever this is with Drew.
Her willingness to move into Drew’s new pad — that he bought as a means to luring her into an instant family with him — is turning stomachs. Not everyone is displeased with their new relationship just because it spelled the end of her marriage to Michael though. No, there’s much more to this.
General Hospital Spoilers — We Wanted an Edgier Willow
For many who were okay — or even happy — to see Michael and Willow fall apart, the piece of the puzzle that made it at all palatable that she was moving on with her husband’s uncle was that Willow was finally getting some pep in her step. We saw sparks.
They weren’t necessarily between her and Drew, but Willow was gaining her own spark, like the Sandra Dee of Port Chuck all glowed up. But along the way, something happened that made Willow lose her footing all over again.
She quickly recoiled from an emboldened woman stepping out on her husband in the family mansion, to a needy and easily manipulated young girl who can’t make her own decisions. What gives?
GH Spoilers Tease Michael Must Come Home
The fans have had just about enough of Willow and Drew and their intimate moments. We don’t want to see them making out. We don’t want to pan the nursery floor. We don’t want to listen as Drew reframes every opinion Willow has — and does so successfully.
We don’t need another reminder that Willow still hasn’t learned when she’s being played. We’re ready for Michael to come home, and for the regret to sink heavily into Willow’s heart. Will that mean they reunite? That’s far from the point.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew has to Go
Point blank: the fans are over Drew. No matter how much the writers push this storyline, the fans can’t wait for it to be over. We’re hoping this isn’t another six-month-long slow burn. We’re ready for the turnover, already.
Willow may come to regret the choices she made once she realizes that Michael loved her just as she was and right where she was in her life. She didn’t need the exciting exit from her marriage after all, but this is the path she chose and now she’ll have to deal with it.
