Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is known as the mobster with a heart of gold. One reason his heart has the Midas touch is his financial generosity to various causes. In fact, Port Charles benefits greatly from his contributions. Not only is the Port Charles mob boss down for a good cause, he doesn’t like to see a young life struggle. Stone, Jason, Dev, Brando, Dex… and now Gio Palmieri (Gio Mazza) from Bensonhurst. I’m sure I’ve forgotten to name a troubled teen or two, but history proves that Sonny has a knack for taking strays (just kidding) under his wing.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Gio is the latest less-fortunate teen to strike gold after crossing Sonny’s path.
