Sonny’s heart problem leaves him contemplating the life he’s lived.

General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 3, 2025 are all about big decisions after Sonny’s medical emergency and Charlotte’s uncertain living arrangements.

With All His Heart

Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) chest pain finally got the better of him when he collapsed onto the boxing ring. With people at GH dying from unforseen heart attacks, it looks like Sonny may be next to experience a heart problem.

The mobster already had a major moment of contemplation earlier this year when the words and actions of others sent him to the GH roof. As he wondered if he should take the next step, he got a visit from Morgan (ex-Bryan Craig), who talked him down. Now that Sonny has some more contemplating to do, who will be at his side?

Him or Her?

Another person with some contemplating to do is Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), who has been thrust into another battle between her parents. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) made it clear the decision is up to her, but with a gun shot shaking things up, that may be the final straw for the teen.

Baby Mama Drama

Back in Port Charles, Michael (Chad Duell, who recently opened up about his decision to exit GH) May have a plan revolving his marriage, but that’s certainly going to change if and when he finds out Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is pregnant. When Sasha confides in Felicia (Kristina Wagner) about her baby drama, maybe she’ll be the voice of reason that convinces her to stay in town.

Jason (Steve Burton) will also be made an offer he… can refuse. This offer will presumably come from Brennan (Charles Mesure), who has been persistent in trying to get the hitman to switch sides and join the WSB.
