GH fans know Carly previously had reservations about her involvement with Brennan, but she finally realized she was overthinking it.
Carly decided to risk her heart and jump into Brennan’s bed, but she didn’t realize she’d ultimately be risking her life!
Carly was poisoned thanks to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) Champagne bottle tampering, so her connection to Brennan put her in grave danger.
Brennan would never forgive himself if something like this happened again, so he may decide his relationship with Carly isn’t going to work.
After Carly’s hospital recovery, Brennan may realize letting her go is the best thing he can do for her.
Perhaps Brennan will make a prediction about chaos continuing to surround him and push Carly away for her own good.

It’s possible Carly will fight for Brennan and their future together, even if he tries to end their relationship.
This could eventually serve as a way to bring Brennan and Carly closer, so that’s one option to keep in mind.
That said, Carly will also have to worry about her children and any threat to their safety.
This whole ordeal could shake Carly up a bit and make her fret over Brennan’s danger trickling down to her kids.
Carly doesn’t realize Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has already been facing dangerous circumstances thanks to Brennan, who got Joss entangled in all the fatal Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama and recruited her for the WSB.
