General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) finally has a real connection with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), who even called her “Mom” and

thanked her during all the holiday festivities. It’s clear that Nina has made a lot of progress with Willow, but she could derail all that progress with the bad choices she’s making.

Unless Nina can get her act together, her mother-daughter bond with Willow is bound to blow up! Let’s talk about three ways Nina’s ruining her relationship with Willow and how the

storyline will be affected.

1) Nina is keeping her Drew fling a secret

For starters, Nina still hasn’t told Willow about her fling with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), so that’s sure to be an issue.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) keeps pushing Nina to come clean before Willow finds out another way, but Nina refuses.

The longer this secrecy goes on, the worse things are going to be for Nina when the truth comes out.

Willow will feel like a fool when she realizes she was opening up to Nina about kissing Drew while her mother was hooking up with him behind closed doors.

Of course, GH fans know Willow later had her own passionate encounter with Drew, so this is a big mess.

Once Willow gets updates on the news that Nina and Drew were previously involved, she’ll inevitably blast her mom for keeping quiet all this time.

2) Nina is overstepping with legal strategies

We also can’t ignore the way Nina is overstepping with all her legal strategies.

Nina hired Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) without telling Willow first and ultimately had him send Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) those legal separation agreement papers.

Since Nina is taking control of the whole legal situation and running the show, this seems like the kind of thing that could prove disastrous for her relationship with Willow.

3) Nina can barely contain her Drew animosity

At the Christmas gathering, Nina struggled to hold her tongue about Drew in front of Willow.

At this point, Nina obviously doesn’t have a very favorable view of Drew and all the chaos he’s caused.

Ava managed to steer Nina away from Drew and tried to keep her from badmouthing him in Willow’s presence. However, Nina may not be able to contain her animosity for much longer.

Although Willow won’t be happy about Drew’s secrecy either once his fling with Nina comes to light, she may eventually get past it.

Willow is definitely attracted to Drew and will find it tough to stay away from him no matter what.

That could be a problem since Nina wants to shut down whatever’s happening between Drew and Willow.

If Willow and Drew are set to become a real couple and Nina tries to interfere, it probably won’t go well for her!
