General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 19, 2024: Drew loses Aurora, Josslyn sees Dex Erin Goldsby12-15 minutes 20/12/2024

Jordan came into the sauna and ran into Isaiah. He was embarrassed to have accidentally entered the women’s steam room. But when he went to open the door to leave, it was jammed, and they

couldn’t get out. Isaiah noted that they only had towels and a water bottle for tools, so they called for help.

They called for help, but someone came, and they couldn’t get it open either, so they left to get help. Isaiah told Jordan a long story about when he was in med school, which Jordan found

entertaining. Finally, a fireman opened the door and recognized Jordan. “In the flesh,” she said before confidently strutting by him in her towel. Isaiah seemed amused and impressed with her

confidence.

In the Q kitchen, Jason thanked Sasha for always having snacks for the kids, as they hadn’t had much of an appetite lately. Sasha wanted to say thank you to Jason as well. “I owe you my life,” Sasha told him.

Jason asked about Robert and Holly and noted that Holly seemed really concerned about Sasha when Sidwell had her. Sasha noted that she was getting texts from them and even responded sometimes. Sasha suggested that Holly might not be entirely awful as a person.

Jason agreed that families were complicated. Sasha said he looked like a different person in the photos she’d seen of him around the house. Jason said those days were long gone.

At Nina’s, Willow couldn’t believe how decked out her mom had made the apartment for the kids. “I did it for you, too,” she explained. Nina wondered if she’d overstepped and then admitted she’d retained Martin, who had filed legal paperwork for Willow’s separation from Drew. Willow thought Nina should have asked her first. Nina said she knew the position Willow was in, and time was not on their side.

Willow pointed out it had only been one day, but Nina told her a lot could happen in that time. Nina worried that Diane would take Michael’s case and he would want full custody. Willow was sure that Michael would find a way to compromise. “Michael is both Quartermaine and Corinthos. He will never compromise,” Nina warned her.

Nina reminded Willow who Michael had in his corner. Nina said Sonny and Carly were protective of their children but she was determined to help her keep her kids. Willow added that Drew was on her side, but Nina said he wasn’t someone she should rely on.

Willow said she only slept with Drew once, and he wasn’t the only one hurting. Nina knew she was, too. “I meant Drew!” Willow told her. She added that he had invited Drew and Scout to spend Christmas with them. Nina thought that when Diane found out she had invited Drew and kept him in her life, it would be used against her for custody. Nina said she was trying to think strategically. “It is Christmas. Leave strategy to the lawyers. What I need from you right now is to just be my mom,” Willow said. Nina said that if Willow wanted that, Drew could bring Scout over on Christmas Eve. Nina insisted on telling Drew the ground rules.

Tracy opened the door and found Martin on the doorstep. He said he was there for Michael. “What business could you possibly have with Michael?” Tracy asked. “Confidential business,” Martin replied. Tracy said Michael wasn’t there, so he’d have to leave whatever it was with her. Martin told her he couldn’t do that.

Tracy guessed that Michael’s “faithless wife retained him, along with her barracuda family.” Tracy warned that by going against Michael, they were going against the entire Quartermaine family. Michael shrugged it off and said her speech was over-rehearsed. “Do you spew that little tirade at the pizza boy every Thanksgiving?” Martin scoffed. Tracy suggested he told the harlots he’s working for to raise the white flag. “Others smarter and richer have gone up against the Quartermaines. And we always wind up victorious,” she said in a sing-song voice.

Martin and Tracy battled about who would win and why in a custody battle. They argued until Tracy asked how Martin looked at himself in the mirror. Martin chuckled and said she was someone whose only source of joy was making life miserable for everyone, including him. He went to hand her the file for Michael, but as she put her hand out to take it, he pulled it away. “Psych!” he said before walking out.

Drew stormed into the office and told Curtis that the stocks had plummeted. Curtis told him he knew that and not to worry as he had it all under control. Drew wondered why Curtis didn’t seem concerned about his company. Curtis told Michael how the stocks were stabilizing. While Drew chastised him for letting it happen, Curtis sent a message from Aurora’s PR Department on his phone, instructing them to send out the press release. “Are you doing something about it?” Drew asked. “Why should I do anything?” Curtis said. Drew told him it was his job. “Sounds like the job for a CEO. Aren’t you replacing me with Michael?” Curtis responded.

Drew admitted he was going to put Curtis back in charge of the wellness division but intended to give him a salary bump. Curtis reminded Drew that Aurora thrived under his leadership as CEO. Drew agreed but noted that Curtis had done well until today, when the stock prices tanked, and Curtis didn’t do anything to stop it.

“You’ve had zero complaints about my job performance until today? Very interesting,” Curtis told him. “Wait, you let this happen on purpose?” Drew realized. He asked if Curtis was getting some sort of payback. He told Curtis he had to do what was best for the company, and he had to let him go. “Except it’s not, and you can’t do that. I’m not fired. In fact, I just got promoted,” Curtis said.

Drew realized Michael and Curtis had set up the stock crash to steal the company from him. “A preliminary report was accidentally released. An honest clerical error,” Curtis said. Drew wondered how he could do this to him as his friend. After what he had done to him, Curtis didn’t consider Drew a friend anymore. Drew ttold Curtis he’d find a way to get him out, but Curtis said he’d had Michael sign a contract that made him the CEO for the next five yearsWillow and Nina on General Hospital | Image: DGE Press

“You don’t think the SEC is going to find this a little suspicious?” Drew asked. Curtis said the only thing they would find is that he acted in the company’s best interest. Drew thought if it wasn’t so despicable, he might be impressed. “There was no way I was going to let you and Michael take advantage of me again,” Curtis said firmly. He told Drew he refused to be a pawn in the Quartermaine family games.

Drew accused Curtis of not coming to him about his concerns, but Curtis pointed out how he had tried. He wanted to know why he picked Michael over him. Drew claimed that Michael had more C-suite experience, but that wasn’t true. Curtis said the real reason was because Drew had been sneaking around with Michael’s wife.

Curtis dismissed Drew from his office but Drew warned him not to trust Michael, either. Curtis said he knew what Michael wanted: revenge on the man who seduced his wife. “Which means I was the only one who had Aurora’s best interest at heart,” Curtis concluded.

Drew warned Curtis it wasn’t over, and there was no way he would let him and Michael steal the company he had built from the ground up. He walked away, but Curtis called him so he’d turn around. Curtis removed Drew’s nameplate from the door and handed it to him. “You forgot something,” he growled. He reminded Drew he was still a minority shareholder. “Under my leadership, you’re going to make great money. But Aurora is going to be booming for the next five years,” Curtis added. Drew snickered and walked away. Curtis tossed the nameplate to the floor and shut the door.

In the gym, Chase asked how Michael was doing and noted that what happened at the party couldn’t have been easy on him. Michael thought that was generous of him to say, considering what Michael had done to Chase and what Drew was doing to Michael.

Michael told Chase that he had betrayed their friendship. Chase told Michael he didn’t deserve what happened and that he was there if Michael wanted to talk. Chase asked Michael if he wanted to end his marriage. Michael was angry for what Drew and Willow did but he wanted save his marriage. Michael admitted that he had worried that if he confronted Willow about the video, it would have blown up their marriage. “And now I’m afraid it’s too late to save it,” Michael said.

Michael admitted that he hadn’t been honest with Willow about things because he wanted her to think the best of him. He thought that she was drawn to Drew because he’s someone who tells her the truth. Michael thought he could forgive Willow one day, but not Drew. “Drew is going to pay for blowing up my marriage,” Michael told Chase.

Michael was working out when Martin came in and handed him an envelope. He told him he could consider himself served. Michael opened it and saw the separation papers.

Josslyn was stunned when she saw Cam in the park. They got caught up, and then he asked how she was spending the holidays. “You wouldn’t know, but Dex…just died,” Joss told him. Joss told Cam that Dex had just graduated from the police academy and was on duty when he was stabbed. Cam hugged her and said he was sorry. Cam told Joss that he was happy she and Dex found each other and had the time together that they did. Gretchen ran up and kissed Cam, then introduced herself to a surprised Josslyn.

Josslyn assumed they were going to Key West together, and Cam admitted they were going to see Gretchen’s family for the holidays. Gretchen walked away to call a ride-share so they could get to the airport. Cam gave Joss a hug and said goodbye, then followed Gretchen. Once alone, an alarm went on Joss’ phone. “24 hours. My first full day without you,” she sighed. Joss closed her eyes and thought about Dex. When she opened them, he stood before her, smiling. She looked away for a second, and when she looked back, he was gone.

In the living room, Brook Lynn and Gio wrapped presents for the kids. He shared how his mom would play an Italian Christmas carol on the violin every year. Brook Lynn wondered why Gio was home and not hanging out with friends. Brook Lynn suggested he go out and make a social life. She said he had a good heart and he needed to share it with others. Gio thought she sounded just like his mom.

Tracy saw Jason in the foyer as he was putting his coat on to leave and told him she wanted a word with him. “I’ve never made a secret about how much I dislike you. You’re a thug, a murderer, and worst of all, you’re an ingrate,” Tracy led with. “Okay,” Jason said. “You had no use for this family, and now you feel entitled to live here like nothing happened,” Tracy snapped. Jason explained that he felt entitled to nothing, but Danny was, and because of his son, he was trying to get along with everyone, including her.

Tracy noted the differences between Jason and Drew. She said that Jason did everything he could to reject the name while Drew made a display of taking the name. “The irony of ironies. Between the hitman and the congressman, you have shown yourself to be a true member of this family,” Tracy told him. Jason replied he’d never thought of it that way. “Of course you didn’t,” Tracy said with a smile. “But now that I’m here for Danny…you’re right, Tracy. I am,” Jason agreed.

On the next General Hospital

“It’s a Christmas miracle! Santa got my letter!” Brennan quips when he sees Carly.

“Happy holidays,” Kai says to Trina in the park.

To Sasha and Maxie, James says he finally has an uncle and asks, “Shouldn’t he be here for Christmas?”

Sasha tells Cody he deserves a family.

Willow tells Drew she’s beginning to feel like she doesn’t know Michael at all.

Nina calls someone and tells them, “I need you here. Now.”
