untimely GH exit in early October. The beloved actress left a public comment on Instagram. GH fans expressed their confusion and upset over the news, which was followed by a statement from Kelly herself. Previously, General Hospital Blog shared Monaco’s social media comment regarding her departure.
Devastation, confusion, and utter upset, among other negative emotions can be associated with Monaco’s exit and Sam McCall’s premature death. Obviously, the majority of the fans stand with Kelly Monaco in this controversial debate on why Kelly was fired.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Steve Burton broke his silence after GH announced that his former scene partner, co-Star Kelly Monaco was let go from the iconic daytime drama. Burton and co-star Bradford Anderson touched on the issue on their podcast, the Daily Drama.
In the episode Spinelli’s portrayer mentioned that the rest of the cast learned of Monaco’s situation around same time as GH sans. This is because the show was on a few week hiatus at the time. Burton weight in, and stated, Burton added, “I wish we had information to tell you,” then alluded to the possibility that new developments would come our way in the coming days. Additionally, Burton declares that he’s unaware of the storyline details, and professed, “Whatever happens sucks.”
