General Hospital fans are excited to see the return of these two fan favorites

On Monday’s General Hospital, two fan-favorites make an appearance after a while and fans were truly happy to seem them on the episode

Terry Randolph and Brad Cooper are back on General Hospital.

The episode opened with two of them talking. Brad made an appointment with Terry to ask about a new entry-level job opening for a lab technician. Terry asked him what’s stopping him from applying and he acknowledged his past wrong-doings at the hospital. Terry agreed about his “checkered past’ and asked him if he thought it was worth applying for.

Brad replied that he was hoping that the Chief of Staff, referring to Terry, would go to bat for him for this position. Terry brought up the list of Brad’s crimes. She mentioned him altering Dr. Hamilton Finn’s drug screenings, faking lab results so Britt Westbourne was pregnant with Patrick Drake’s child, and pretending Wiley (Willow and Michael’s son) was his and partner Lucas’ child.

Brad hasn’t been on the show since 2023

Both characters haven’t been on the show recently so their presence was duly noted and appreciated among the GH fanbase. On the General Hospital subreddit for August 19’s episode, they expressed their excitement and hope that the two will have more constant future appearances on the ABC soap.

One fan said: “Terri is back!!!!! Please, let it be for more than one day or week or month!!! Also, loved seeing Brad!!!” A second fan said: “A rare Brad sighting. Rare Terry one too! What is happening today?” Another said: “’Who said anything about innocent? That’s one thing I never was!’ The brightest spots in today’s episode were the scenes with Terri & Brad!! They deserve much more airtime.” On X formerly Twitter one fan wrote: “Brad AND Terry!!! BRAD AND TERRY ARE ON!! AT THE SAME TIME!!!

After their conversation, he added that Britt lobbied for him previously and would have if she was alive today. He also told Terry that she and Britt were friends as well. Terry decided to give Brad a recommendation but insisted that he does not have the job yet and that if he gets the job, he will be in a probational period. Brad was still happy for the chance despite that.

Terry is the first transgender character on General Hospial

This marked the actor Perry Shen’s return as Brad who hasn’t appeared since March 2023 when he was mourning the death of his former GH co-worker Epiphany (the late Sonya Eddy). Brad was fired from the hospital and was working for his Aunt Selina (Lydia Look).

Terry (Cassandra James) on the other hand, was seen more recently in June when she supported friend Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) before her meeting with Finn (Michael Easton) and Portia (Brook Kerr) about his drinking problem. The doctor is also the show’s first transgender character.
