SISTER Wives star Janelle Brown’s sons aren’t over their feud with Robyn and think she’s a villain, a
source has exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
Gabe and Garrison Brown’s strained relationship with their father Kody and his last-standing wife
Robyn has played out in new episodes of season 18 of Sister Wives.
Now, a source close to the famous family has provided an update on where things stand today following the fall-out that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Kody’s still very angry. He’s still very hurt, and he stands by his beliefs,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
The patriarch had set COVID-19 rules over his fear that the disease would be spread to him and his younger children. Gabe, 21, and Garrison, 24, accused their dad of having “double standards” with the rules, resulting in a major fight.
The sons said in an episode last season that they are “done” with their dad after the fight. The source continued: “The boys aren’t stepping down either.
“They’re letting it be and just supporting their mom.”
When it comes to Kody’s “favorite” wife Roby, the boys don’t feel any different, especially after their mom separated from Kody.
“They hate Robyn and, quite frankly, want nothing to do with her.
“They want her out of their lives for good, as sad as that is,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
“They painted Robyn to be the biggest villain.”
FAMILY RIFT
In this season’s premiere episode of Sister Wives, Janelle’s sons sat with Janelle and Christine when the topic of where they planned on spending the holidays came up.
Janelle said she wouldn’t be at Kody and Robyn’s house in Flagstaff, Arizona, because of the rift between the families.
The mom-of-six stated: “Kody’s still feeling like the boys need to have a conversation with him or whatever, so we’re separate.
“Kody feels like they owe him a big apology and some sort of conversation and stuff for being disrespectful.”
Janelle went on to say that she always picks her kids before Kody.
Garrison then chimed in: “You know what Robyn? Have him. We’re all grown adults who don’t need a father figure anymore.”
Kody, for his part, shared his thoughts about not spending the holidays with his sons during a confessional:
“If something political or something about COVID or my own experience with it comes up, and we end up devolving into an angry conversation. That’s a stupidity that I’m not going to bring into my house for holidays.”
DEFENDING ROBYN
One of Robyn’s friends, Kendra Pollard, who appeared in earlier seasons, has come to her pal’s defense after getting sick of the “false” narrative that’s being spread about Robyn.
“Robyn is not a homewrecker and their marriage wasn’t premeditated,” she told The U.S. Sun exclusively in an interview.
“The way Robyn actually came into the family is a hundred percent through Meri. It was an interaction and an introduction through Meri, so the whole idea was Meri’s.”
She continued: “It was not until [Kody and Robyn] were engaged to be married that he started having outings with her in private.
“[Fans are] portraying Robyn as this selfish person who demanded all of Kody, but the truth of the matter is Kody had a very rigid schedule of being with his wives. It rarely changed.”
Robyn became Kody’s fourth spiritual wife in 2010 and then legally married the patriarch in 2014.
One by one the sister wives started breaking away from the family after more than 25 years of marriage. Christine announced her split from Kody in November 2021. Then, Janelle and Meri revealed at the end of last year that they both had separated from the father of 18.
DIVORCE OVER?
In a turn of events, The U.S. Sun reported Janelle “may take ex Kody back” due to her serious financial issues. A source told The U.S. Sun: “Knowing Janelle on a personal level, I see her going back to Kody.
“She’s not going to have money, really, until they figure out how to deal with dividing up money from the property.”
The source added: “She’s just not going to be able to really do things on her own. She’s never in her life been financially [stable].”
The U.S. Sun recently revealed Janelle and Kody still own the plot of land in their name called Coyote Pass. Janelle spoke about her plans of her dream home in a past episode. However, it seems like her financial issues are delaying the building of the 1,200 square foot house.
“I’m stuck. Financially, I have nothing,” Janelle told cameras.
Family troubles continue to unfold in new episodes of Sister Wives, which air on Sundays at 10pm ET on TLC.
