EMMERDALE fans think they’ve spotted a HUGE spoiler after star Lisa Riley shared a behind-the-scenes snap.

Lisa, 48, who plays the beloved Mandy Dingle, shared a filming update on Instagram.

The snap features Lisa standing alongside an identically dressed woman.

She penned in the caption: “As if one Mandy Dingle was not enough this morning filming at the village at @emmerdale ……..you get TWO.

“THANKYOU to my lovely body double Angela, absolute sweetheart.

“Next time you get Mandy’s Cowboy Boots also. Just another day at work!!!!”

Fans were convinced this means imminent danger for Mandy and rushed to share their concern.

One follower commented: “Not good if there’s a stunt woman, it means Mandy is in trouble.”

Another remarked: “Hope this doesn’t mean Mandy’s in danger at some point ? Can’t have anything happening to her.”

While a third chimed in with: “OMG Mandy has a stunt double.”

Could the fan favourite find herself in peril?

Lisa began playing Mandy from 1995 before initially leaving the ITV soap in 2001.

She returned to Emmerdale back in 2019 and has remained ever since.

Things haven’t been plain sailing for Mandy since her village comeback.

Earlier this year, she was one of several villagers at risk in a huge limo crash stunt.

Speaking to The Mirror at the time, Lisa revealed anxiousness among the cast over which characters will be killed off.

She said: “Whenever there is a stunt that involves a death, I will always be on standby to phone my agent.

“[In case] it means I am going to need to get a new job!”

Mandy ultimately survived the incident – but three of her neighbours weren’t as lucky.

It saw Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) all die in the tragedy.
