Coronation Street fans have all been left saying the same thing after Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) were left in tears at the end of last night’s episode.
The girls were attending Aadi Alahan’s (Adam Hussain) midsummer party when they decided to take the LSD Aadi had confiscated from Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), who had planned to sell it after crashing the party.
While enjoying their trip, they were spooked by the arrival of DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and snuck out of the party to avoid being caught under the influence of hallucinogenics.
However, things took a terrifying turn after they left the party, with Summer and Nina arriving back at the cafe in a panic, sobbing about something that had happened.
The scene left viewers confused, as they took to social media to ask similar questions.
‘What happened with Nina and Summer or did I fall asleep and miss something?’ one fan questioned on Twitter/X, while another wrote: ‘Did I miss what happened to Nina and Summer?’
‘Please could someone tell me what’s going on. Summer and Nina specifically,’ a third requested.
Fortunately, viewers didn’t miss anything, with Summer and Nina set to retrace their steps from that fateful night later this week, hopefully shedding light on what really happened.
Theories are already flying in from fans who think they’ve worked out what happened, with one suggesting: ‘I wonder if they ( Nina and summer ) saw Brody do something to Bernie or his mam after they left kits flat.’
‘Has Nina and summer killed someone?’ Another theorised, while a third disagreed, saying: ‘I don’t think Nina and Summer killed someone because there’s no one else leaving (that we know of) – maybe they saw something or were involved?’
Another is convinced we’ll get to see what really happened on the night in question, writing: ‘Guessing something we not seen yet and will see flash back from nina [and] summer’.
