Emmerdale‘s Bear Wolf hits rock bottom once again tonight – terrifying Jacob Gallagher as he loses control during an emotional trip to the hospital. Adding to Jacob’s misery, his bullying boss Dr Todd isn’t too sympathetic over what’s happened.

Meanwhile, Laurel Thomas is rushed into A&E – but how much will she remember when she regains consciousness?

1. Laurel arrives for treatment – and is seen by a familiar face

Laurel is admitted to hospital after suffering a nasty head injury when her son Arthur pushed her over at Mulberry Cottage. Arthur and Gabby are right by her side, although Arthur is slyly keeping quiet about what really happened.

Trainee doctor Jacob is on duty, overseen by his demanding boss Dr Todd. When the incident brings back tragic memories of his mum’s death, Jacob struggles under the pressure.

2. Bear seeks help

It’s a busy day for Emmerdale residents arriving in A&E – Bear also makes an appearance.

Bear is adamant that somebody needs to help him address his painful arm injury, after local doctor Manpreet refused to prescribe medication. With a long wait before he can expect to be seen, Bear quickly grows frustrated.

3. Paddy and Mandy panic

At home, Paddy and Mandy worry when they find the broken mirror – which Bear punched before leaving the house.

With no clues left behind about Bear’s whereabouts, the couple have no idea whether he’s merely out for a walk – or turning his back on the village for good.

4. Sarah starts to push her luck

Cain and Sarah team up for another car theft. Although Cain was keen to continue with these criminal jobs to make some fast cash, he’s concerned that Sarah is being too reckless with her approach.

When police arrive on the scene, can they stay out of trouble?

5. Laurel’s fate is revealed

Arthur feels guilty when the hospital team question whether an underlying health issue could have caused Laurel’s fall. Valuable time is clearly being wasted pursuing the wrong theory.

When Laurel later regains consciousness, will she remember that Arthur lashed out? And will she expose the truth if she does?

6. Bear’s turmoil leaves Jacob in terrible danger

Bear sees Jacob at the hospital and piles on the pressure as he demands urgent treatment.

When Jacob is unable to help without breaking the rules, troubled Bear turns violent – in a terrifying moment which is reminiscent of Ray’s death.

How far will things go? And when Dr Todd shows little sympathy over Jacob’s predicament, have her true colours been exposed?
