“Carla asks for her permission,” Vicky said. “It’s the mother-daughter relationship Carla’s yearned for, but the plans are fumbled by a neighbour.”
While David Platt is set to serve as another obstacle in Carla’s proposal, it’s been confirmed that Lisa will learn of Carla’s plans from Betsy, which prompts her to come up with a few ideas of her own.
“Let’s hope that Lisa’s efforts turn out better than Carla’s,” our insider hints.

While Carla and Lisa are undoubtedly besotted with one another, the couple have already faced some obstacles. Lisa has been haunted by the notion that her late wife Becky may have been a corrupt copper.
As Lisa and Carla each plan to propose next week, the pair will be rocked when Tia Wardley suddenly appears in Weatherfield.
Last month, Carla had visited villain Logan Radcliffe in prison, where he suggested that the mysterious Tia may have some important information about Becky.
Currently, little is known about the character, however, after a conversation with Lisa, an intrigued Kit will begin to do some digging on her. The question is: will he make a breakthrough?
In the meantime, Carla and Lisa are expected to come face-to-face with Tia after sitting down for dinner at the Bistro with Roy Cropper and Evelyn Plummer.
