Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has confirmed that Nate Robinson’s fate will be exposed in upcoming scenes.
Walsh’s character Tracy Robinson currently believes that her estranged husband Nate has simply legged it. He hasn’t been sending her any child support for their daughter Frankie since his departure from the village last year and has seemingly cut all contact.
However, viewers know that Nate didn’t get out of the village alive as he seems to have been killed, with Amy Barton spotting his body in the icy lake as she fought to reach the surface following the limo crash.
Walsh has now revealed that she has started filming the scenes where Tracy finally finds out about Nate’s death.
“It’s brilliant. I love that the audience know and she doesn’t, and they’re just waiting for this pay-off and for Tracy to find out who’s done it,” she said.

The actor continued: “It’s been a long time coming – so long. Tracy has had all these feelings that Nate’s done badly to her, and finally poor Nate gets his justice.
“It’s such a journey for Tracy to take. I’ve just got some new scripts through and it’s really juicy stuff for me.
“I’ve not had anything that big for a while and it’s partly daunting, because you know you’re going to be working a lot more – which I love, but juggling that with home life is a challenge.
“But then I just love it when it’s like that at work, because you get in the throes of it. It’s fun, it’s my favourite part of the job when you get a big story like that and you know the audience are waiting for that pay-off.”

When Jurell Carter’s final scenes as Nate aired back in September, there was a lot of speculation that something sinister was afoot as he didn’t get a proper goodbye scene.
Recently speaking to Digital Spy, Carter revealed that he “was told a little while beforehand about the plan for Nate”.
“I had a meeting with Sophie Roper, one of the producers at Emmerdale, and she told me the storylines that would happen for my exit. It might sound cheesy, but I had goosebumps in the meeting,” he shared.
“So I knew about it a while ago. Ever since I heard, I’ve been excited to see it play out. As the audience still doesn’t know exactly how it’ll go from here, I’m excited for them to see it now.”
