Coronation Street fans think they’ve figured out Lou Michaelis’ sinister plan for Gary Windass, and it spells trouble.
Lou (played by Farrel Hegarty) arrived on the scene earlier this year with her dodgy husband Mick (portrayed by Joe Layton), quickly becoming the talk of Weatherfield after settling into Mawdsley Street.
Despite befriending Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Chesney Brown (Sam Aston), Lou and Mick didn’t take long to stir up some serious drama. He ended up killing Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) in a violent, booze-fuelled assault, which also exposed Mick’s abusive behaviour towards Lou.
With Mick now behind bars, Lou, who is a mother to three including the troublesome Brody (Ryan Mulvey), has stayed put on the cobbles, much to the dismay of the locals.

Gary Windass (Mikey North), who has connections to Mick, has been getting closer to Lou, leading viewers to speculate about a possible affair.
But in the episode aired on June 11, Lou hinted at a more devious scheme to secure her family’s future, reports Leicestershire Live.
During her visit to see Mick in prison, she expressed her inability to support his actions publicly and mentioned her need to provide for their children. She even suggested that she might exploit Gary’s affections to “rinse him for cash”.
She ominously told Mick: “I love you, but you’ve left me no choice. Whatever it takes to survive.” Now, fans believe they’ve sussed out Lou’s game plan and it spells trouble for Gary.

On a Corrie Facebook fan group, one individual shared: “I have a feeling Lou will sleep with Gary and then blackmail him for cash.”
Another fan echoed the theory: “Was thinking the same thing.”
Then a third contributor added their two cents: “How gross, just when everyone was starting to like her.” Finally, a fourth commenter speculated: “Yep she’ll use it to get money from Gary.”
