Dex Kills His Ally Pascal To Save Joss, And Disappears Shortly After! General Hospital Spoilers

General Hospital spoilers reveal that the humid night air at the exclusive Five Poppies resort was thick with secrets, each one heavier than the last. Hidden along a quiet stretch of coastline, the luxury hideaway was meant to offer peace and privacy. But beneath the serene surface, it thrummed with danger.

Josslyn Jacks and Vaughn had traveled here for their Dalmatia mission — a job meant to be quiet surveillance and information gathering. They were supposed to remain invisible. But from the moment they checked in, both felt eyes on them.

What they didn’t realize was that Five Poppies had already been claimed as a long-term base for Britt Westbourne and her handler, Pascal. They weren’t vacationing — they were here on orders from a shadowy figure who had been pulling strings in Port Charles and beyond for years.

Britt, restless and rebellious, was a constant challenge for Pascal, who worked hard to keep her under control. But this night, control was slipping. And soon, more familiar faces would appear at the resort — Jason Morgan operating under the radar, Professor Henry Dalton whose real purpose was far more dangerous, and others whose presence wasn’t recorded anywhere. They were all connected by the same unseen mastermind.

That mastermind was also the reason Dex Heller — thought dead for months — was still breathing. His “death” had been staged, and since then, he’d been operating in the shadows for the same man who now controlled Britt and Pascal.

When Dex arrived quietly at Five Poppies, his orders were chillingly simple: protect Britt at all costs, eliminate any threats before they got too close. It wasn’t sentiment — it was strategy. Britt knew too much, and if she fell, she’d take an entire network down with her.

From a high balcony, Dex spotted two figures trailing Britt. Their body language was all wrong for tourists — tense, tracking, ready to strike. He signaled Pascal to take the shot. But as Dex adjusted for a clean view, his breath caught.

The woman with the male tail was Josslyn.

Not just a face from the past — but the woman he had walked away from to protect, the one he had grieved in silence after faking his death. And now, she was seconds away from becoming another casualty in a mission she didn’t even know existed.

Dex’s voice cracked over comms, urgent: “Stand down.” Pascal didn’t listen. The click of a safety being switched off made Dex move before he could think.

One pull of the trigger — and Pascal collapsed, shock etched on his face as he hit the ground.

The crack of the gunshot ripped through the humid night, sending guests scattering. Britt froze, eyes scanning for the shooter. Josslyn spun, her gaze cutting into the shadows.

And then — for just an instant — she saw him. Dex.

Her heart pounded as recognition flooded her, but before she could chase him, Jason stepped in, physically blocking her path. His voice was firm: running blindly into a firefight was suicide. She argued, but it didn’t matter.

By the time she broke free, Dex was gone — swallowed by the labyrinth of the resort. Britt, meanwhile, vanished just as quickly, moving like someone following an escape plan.

Jason’s instincts told him Britt was at the center of something huge — but he didn’t yet know just how deep the danger went.

Later that night, in a hidden corner of the property, Dex considered the fallout. Killing Pascal had blown part of his cover, but letting Josslyn die had never been an option. He still had his orders — protect Britt — but now his personal loyalties were in direct conflict with his mission.

Dalton, the supposed professor, had also been quietly circling the action. He wasn’t here for leisure — he was connected to the WSB’s growing interest in Britt, believing she was tied to a smuggling network that could unravel an entire operation.

The boss, far from the resort, received Dex’s report and approved the decision to eliminate Pascal. But there was no sentiment in his voice when he warned: if Josslyn became a liability, she’d be dealt with too.

Josslyn, still burning with certainty that Dex was alive, convinced Vaughn they needed to find Britt. Their search was intercepted by Jason, who reminded them that a man who’d faked his death and was working for a shadow organization wasn’t someone they could just “bring home.” Vaughn argued that Britt was the key — if Dex was protecting her, she was their way to answers.

At the same time, Britt slipped away to a restricted area of the resort to use a secure communication line to the boss. She calmly reported Pascal’s death and awaited further instructions. The reply was brief: stay put, backup is coming. Dex was that backup, but he knew things were already spiraling.

He warned Britt the WSB had infiltrated the resort — and he suspected Dalton was one of their operatives. What he didn’t say was that Josslyn was already closing in.

By the following day, tensions spiked again. Britt was spotted being escorted by two unfamiliar men toward the marina. Dex recognized instantly they weren’t following the boss’s orders — someone had flipped them. If they got Britt onto that boat, she’d vanish for good.

Dex stepped into their path, weapon drawn. Jason emerged from the shadows to help, and the takedown was swift and brutal. Vaughn and Josslyn pulled Britt out of danger, while Dalton watched from the sidelines, his sharp gaze fixed on Dex.

For a heartbeat, Josslyn and Dex locked eyes. Years of unanswered questions hung between them. But Dex offered no explanations — only a warning: they had to move Britt somewhere safe now.

The uneasy alliance that formed was built on necessity, not trust. They followed Dex to a weathered storage shed where he revealed a map to an unmarked dock. From there, a boat would take them to a safe house. Jason, ever suspicious, questioned Dex’s motives. Josslyn’s voice cut sharper — accusing him of working for the same man who had stolen him from her life.

Dex gave no defense, just focused on the escape. Vaughn would scout ahead, Jason and Dex would flank Britt, Josslyn close behind, Dalton trailing like a second shadow.

The trek to the dock was tense. Halfway there, Vaughn signaled danger — two armed men waiting. Dex and Jason moved like seasoned predators, taking them down before they could fire. But as they loaded onto the boat, a bullet splintered the dock. Jason returned fire while Dex shoved the throttle forward, sending them racing into the dark.

The escape was only a reprieve. The safe house they reached before dawn was stocked and ready — too ready. Someone had been there recently.

Inside, Britt finally broke her silence. “You bought me time,” she told Dex quietly. Jason cut in, demanding to know whether she would keep running the boss’s errands or tell them the truth. Britt’s answer was chilling: “If I tell you, none of us will make it back to Port Charles alive.”

Outside, the sound of an approaching engine echoed through the inlet. The boss’s reach had found them again. Whatever came next would decide who survived the night — and whether the truth about Dex’s return ever reached Port Charles.

This wasn’t an ending. It was the opening move of a dangerous new game — one where loyalties would be tested, alliances shattered, and Dex’s name would either mean salvation… or betrayal.
