Days of our Lives spoilers for Thursday, July 31, end this very hot month with some very hot news: Susan has figured out who shot EJ! Will anyone believe her?
Susan’s Newfound Power
Susan (Stacy Haiduk) has already come bursting into Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) house, announcing that those voices she hears in her head have told her that Johnny is innocent of shooting Elvis (Dan Feuerriegel). So… we’re good? Case closed?
Does Susan have any evidence of her… um… feelings? Nope. Does she have people she can point the police towards? Not so much. So the Salem PD should just… take Susan’s word for it? Yes, that would be so sweet of them to do that. OK, then. Johnny is as good as home free now!
Xander And Sarah’s New Relationship
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) have agreed to get legally separated, so they can fight over Victoria’s custody more… legal-like. Now they are officially authorized to hate each other.
So Sarah can get Xander to admit that he beat up Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), and Xander can get Sarah to admit that she has had multiple mental lapses in the past, and they can do all this in front of a judge, instead of just whining to Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). So we’re not sure what has really changed, but they both appear convinced that it’s a brand new world today.
Alex Works To Calm Stephanie
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) wrote a sexy book. She agreed to let Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) publish it. Stephanie keeps freaking out about Titan releasing her book, and Alex keeps insisting they have to publish it to make Titan a corporate power again.
First, books make very, very little money (in the grand, international conglomerate scheme of things). Second, Stephanie’s is not the only sexy book out there. Alex should visit Wattpad. He will get all the sexy stories he ever wanted. And he won’t have to constantly keep talking Stephanie down off her self-inflicted ledge.
Meanwhile, Stephanie’s dad, Steve (Stephen Nichols), also has some professional concerns. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gives him much better advice than Alex gives Stephanie.
