EJ has, if we’re being brutally honest here, an uncanny knack for pissing off the women of Salem on Days of Our Lives. And that’s not because of the emotional wreckage he leaves behind in most of his relationships. Though it certainly hasn’t helped Nicole or Sami look all too kindly on him…

But EJ has warred with Ava and Gabi, gone after Paulina and her job, destroyed Jada’s life and is trying his best to steal Belle’s job out from under her while sleeping with her the whole time! Stephanie, Kate, Marlena, Kristen, depending on who’s scheming for the DiMera CEO position — you know what? We could list the entire town at this point.

The Wrong Side of the Law

Now, thanks to Paulina, Belle learned that EJ didn’t just hire “Rafe” to go after Jada, he’s also actively trying to steal her job out from under her. While that clearly isn’t stopping her from still having fun with him, Belle has made it clear that she can give as good as she gets. Flirting? Sure.

But this Belle is taking a walk on the dark side with EJ, and once everything comes out that he’s been doing, we can see her taking him down in the courtroom, rather than the bedroom. If not more.

EJ’s going to be shot — fairly soon, we’d guess. (You can see it happen in the preview video about.) We know that’s coming, but we don’t know just who is going to do the shooting. John is, sadly, going to die soon, and when he’s gone, a bereft Belle may start reflecting back on all the times EJ tried to kill her dad. And that’s not even to mention all the brainwashing and torture EJ and Stefano did to John! Pile that on top of all of EJ’s other misdeeds against her and her family and Belle may finally have enough of him.

Pushed too Far

Then there’s Gabi. She just teamed up with JJ to get to the bottom of whatever EJ is planning. As she said, after he sent her away to prison for a good chunk of a year for something she didn’t do, she’s all too eager to make him pay. She was ripped away from her family, beaten by Clyde’s goons and, while she was inside, Stefan was sleeping with Ava. That ended up blowing their marriage up in a slow motion car wreck.

So yeah, we can understand that she’s “eager to see EJ pay,” as she put it mildly to JJ. And while we may not quite see Belle as capable of pulling a trigger to make that happen just yet, Gabi is a whole different story. EJ’s taken a wrecking ball to her and her loved ones too many times to let it slide with a slap on the wrist and a tossing in jail. That DiMera money makes sure he always walks free.

Gabi shot and killed Nick after he pushed her too far and threatened her loved ones. Hurting her, destroying her marriage, kidnapping her brother, ruining Jada’s life, their love for each other: You better believe Gabi’s capable of shooting EJ dead just like she did to Nick.
