Meanwhile, out in Salem, all Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Jada (Elia Cantu) have is video of a person wearing Jeremy’s costume on Halloween night, attempting to kill Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) accepted it as evidence, but all she saw was the costume, not Jeremy’s face. The same goes for the mystery doctor who dropped off those files on Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) desk. They found no fingerprints. And the police guard who said he was knocked out by a blow to the head was actually drugged. Which sounds like we may not have the full picture here.

Salem is no stranger to people pretending to be other people. If the dead can come back to life with regularity, surely a little plastic surgery wouldn’t be beyond the true culprit. What if this is someone who is framing Jeremy to the point of being cut up to look like him, and then leaving the real Jeremy’s body behind to close the case, while they abscond for parts unknown with Stephanie?
