There’s anger, espionage, and suspicion brewing in Salem, and a man saves the brother he nearly killed months earlier, according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers. Meanwhile, a beloved couple returns home, and Kristen faces her sentence after selflessly confessing to shooting EJ. Here’s your DAYS video preview for the week of September 1-5, 2025.
Anger Management
Xander (Paul Telfer) seeks answers about his oftentimes volatile behavior from Marlena (Deide Hall). “What sets you off?” she asks her patient when he arrives for his latest session.
“Lying, scheming, cheating,” rattles off Xander. “Who’s done that?” counters Marlena, eager to delve into Xander’s psyche.
Secrets and Espionage
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) meets with Tony (Thaao Penghlis) to discuss her progress in taking down Xander and the Kiriakis family. “I planted a bug in a pen I left on Xander’s desk,” she informs him.
Tony smiles broadly, obviously approving of her latest move. But he wants more details about how things are going. “Well, don’t keep me in suspense,” he says.
Suspicion Grows
“My son’s baby, was it a boy or a girl?” Brady (Eric Martsolf) asks someone.
Meanwhile, Sophia (Rachel Boyd) admits she made a mistake to Melinda (Tina Huang). “I accidentally referred to the baby as him,” reveals Sophia.
A Family Reunites
Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) return to Salem to celebrate their son JJ’s (Casey Moss) birthday. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is delighted to see them. “I’m so glad that you’re here,” gushes Julie as she embraces Jennifer, while Jack, JJ, and Steve (Stephen Nichols) look on.
Later, Jack encounters Gwen (Emily O’Brien) in Horton Square, where they discuss her living arrangements. “Why would I want to be in a house full of people who hate me?” Gwen asks her father. “I don’t hate you,” insists Jack.
Saving Philip
While meeting with Xander in his office, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) suddenly begins choking. Xander quickly rushes to his rescue and tries to save the brother he nearly killed a few months earlier.
Sentencing Kristen
It’s Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk) day in court. “Before we proceed with sentencing, would you care to amend your plea?” the judge asks her. Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Belle (Martha Madison) await Kristen’s decision.
Brady, unaware that Kristen only pleaded guilty to spare their daughter, Rachel (Alice Halsey), who really shot EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), is adamant that the book be thrown at his ex. “Give her the maximum sentence allowed by law,” he tells someone. Will his words have an effect on what happens to Kristen, and how will he feel when he learns the truth about her selfless actions?
