Taking Care of Business
Tony (Thaao Penghlis) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) discuss the family business, specifically, its takeover by the Kiriakis clan. “What is vital is that we get DiMera back,” Tony tells EJ.
It looks like EJ is already calculating a plan. “Well, there is one option,” he responds to his brother. “Johnny (Carson Boatman).” Remember, Johnny has recently gone to work for Xander (Paul Telfer) at the newly formed Titan-DiMera.
She’s Back
Chad (Billy Flynn) arrives home at the Horton house with a familiar face in tow, Gwen (Emily O’Brien). “Surprise,” coos Gwen with a smile as she greets a stunned and not-too-happy Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). “Happy Independence Day,” adds Gwen.
He’s All In
It looks like former playboy, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson), is ready to commit to Stephanie (Abigail Klein). “Steph, I love you,” he reveals to his surprised girlfriend. Will she return the sentiment?
Something’s Off
Marlena (Deidre Hall) appears unsteady on her feet when she stands up from the couch. “I’m fine,” she assures a concerned Belle (Martha Madison). But is she… really? Belle isn’t so sure. “Is there something you’re not telling me,” she asks her mother.
Meanwhile, across town, Leo (Greg Rikaart) can’t seem to soothe baby “Tesoro” no matter how hard he tries. Ari (Marissa Ramirez) covers her ears as the infant cries. “Just give him to me,” says Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), reaching out for the child. “I’m worried something’s really wrong with him,” retorts Leo.
Kisses and Fireworks
Several Salem couples share passionate kisses – Doug (Peyton Meyer) and Ari, Alex and Stephanie, Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny, Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis), and… Xander and Gwen. It looks like the little vixen doesn’t waste any time “reconnecting” with her ex.
