Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, December 5, reveal that Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will

return from taking Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) to the airport and find Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) getting

acquainted with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

Lucas and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will offer some blast-from-the-past stories about Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and the rest of the family, so Jennifer may join in once she discovers Doug III’s history lesson.

However, DOOL fans know Doug’s grandson is keeping a sneaky secret since he’s the one behind the time capsule necklace theft.

While Doug continues conning Julie and the others into thinking he’s innocent, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will land back in Salem.

Days spoilers say Hope will head to the cemetery, where she’ll put some flowers on Doug’s grave and bid farewell to her dad.

Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will eventually come along for a family reunion with their mom, so Hope will appreciate their support as they all mourn the loss of Doug together.

At some point, Days spoilers say Hope will visit the Horton house, where she’ll encounter Doug III and immediately put her guard up.

Hope may fear Doug is an intruder until Julie explains the new family addition.

Since Hope has plenty of police experience and knows how to sense a shady character, she’ll be uneasy around Doug right away.

Of course, the news that Doug just got out of jail surely won’t help matters, so Hope may put him through an interrogation and upset Julie in the process.

Even so, Hope will remain on edge over Doug and may wonder if he’s behind the necklace theft if she gets updates on that.

At the townhouse, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will comfort Belle Black Brady (Martha Madison) since she’s agreed to a divorce.

As Belle prepares to formally end her marriage to Shawn, Marlena will offer support in the form of dessert and good company.

Other Days spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will track Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) down so he can deliver a special request.

Although Xander will ask Stephanie to ditch Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) as a PR client, it looks like she’ll refuse.

Stephanie believes Philip has a right to contest Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) will, so she may express that to Xander and defend her decision to help Philip boost his public image.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Philip and Stephanie will continue to reconnect in the midst of all this, so we’ll bring you more predictions on any romantic developments.
