Days of our Lives spoilers for Monday, May 12 stress the importance of communication in a marriage, when both Kate and Roman are prepared to confess…to each other.
Next on Days of our Lives
Roman (Josh Taylor) still keeps the gun from his policeman days. (Yeah, Roman used to be a cop. It’s how he first popped up in Salem. He was protecting Marlena [Deidre Hall] from the The Salem Strangler. Abe [James Reynolds] was his partner. He mostly makes chowder now. It’s probably just as satisfying.)
The night EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) was shot, the gun disappeared from the box where Roman keeps it. Then it reappeared. Roman knows this. Kate (Lauren Koslow) knows this. Kate also knows that Rex (Kyle Lowder) found the gun on her. And told Roman. She denied it. He pretended to believe her. She pretended to believe that he believed. But now it’s time for both of them to come clean.
Next Steps
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) is still lying about some things. Well, he’s lying about who knew about his earlier lie. But he has a solution to that now. That might not even include lying.
Meanwhile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) are still squabbling. Rachel is a budding psychopath! No, she just gifted! She needs therapy! She needs positive reinforcement! You don’t really love her! No, you’re the one who doesn’t really love her! So it’s just another day in Salem. While Rachel (Alice Halsey) inches further and further off the deep end.
Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word
Chanel (Raven Bowens) told Johnny (Carson Boatman) she forgives him admitting he’s not ready to be a father and calling off the adoption. But she’s not ready to move back in with him and continue their marriage as if nothing happened.
So Johnny says sorry. Again. Has he not been listening. She’s forgiven. She’s just not forgotten.
