Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) romance could be brewing. Is Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) about to lose her man?

In DOOL’s March 6 episode, JJ came to Joy’s rescue in the town square.

After noticing Joy was unsteady on her feet, JJ pointed out that he used to be an EMT and checked her pulse.

Although JJ wanted to get Joy checked out at the hospital, she insisted she already knew what was wrong.

Joy admitted she might be pregnant and that she was “screwed” if it was true.

JJ couldn’t say much to comfort Joy in that moment, but he at least tried!

It was a sweet moment that showed JJ’s caring side and could potentially set the stage for a new romantic duo.

Of course, JJ is currently involved with Gabi, but they may not be meant to last.

Gabi and JJ’s last attempt at dating didn’t work out, so they may be doomed this time, too.

Days fans know JJ is a detective at the Salem PD, so he’s more inclined to obey laws and follow the rules than Gabi is.

Gabi just took aim and nearly fired at EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) in the DiMera living room, so her relationship with JJ can’t work indefinitely if she keeps doing stuff like that.

The cracks in JJ and Gabi’s relationship may already be forming.

If Gabi and JJ are headed for a breakup, that could set the stage for JJ to fall for Joy next. It’s easy to imagine JJ stepping up for Joy if she’s indeed got a bun in the oven.

Days has already established JJ as Joy’s confidant now that she’s told him about her potential pregnancy news.

Joy may keep leaning on JJ more and more, especially since things are going to be awkward for her at Titan with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Although Joy could perhaps use a fake baby daddy, would JJ go that far to help her? It might be a tough sell considering JJ has been so focused on Gabi lately – and Joy was all in on her romance with Alex until he reunited with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Plus, JJ knows the heartbreak of a paternity lie since he’s been duped before. Alex would likely demand a DNA test anyway if Joy tried to claim someone else was the father.

In other words, JJ may not go as far as pretending he’s the bio dad, but he might become a strong source of support if this pregnancy is the real deal.

Joy might end up being there for JJ too if he ultimately splits from Gabi due to all her broken laws and dangerous moves.
