Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Clyde Weston’s (James Read) coma awakening will inevitably blow up Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) future.

It’s obvious that despite Chad’s efforts to resist what’s happening between them, he’s indeed starting to reciprocate Cat’s feelings.

Although Chad has struggled to get past all the Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) imposter drama, he knows it wasn’t really Cat’s fault.

Cat was following Clyde’s orders and only duped Chad to save her mother from a grim fate, so Chad finally found some compassion.

Clyde obviously played a huge role in putting Cat in Chad’s path – and he may eventually play a huge role in why their romance falls apart.

That brings us to Clyde’s exit strategy since Days opted to leave him in a coma after Catharina Greene (Susan Elena Matus) fired at him.

It would’ve been easy for Clyde to take the secret of where Abigail’s remains were to the grave, but DOOL let him live.

Now the truth is stuck in limbo since Clyde isn’t conscious to give Chad any more information.

Chad was forced to move on with his life – and as things progress with Cat, he should find a way to love again.

Of course, the only reason to put someone in a coma on a soap is so they can eventually wake up!

It seems likely that Clyde’s coma awakening will indeed launch another round of chaos down the road.

Just when it looks like Chad and Cat are going to live happily ever after, Clyde may regain consciousness and try to bargain with a shocking revelation.

It’s easy to imagine Clyde summoning Chad so they can finish their conversation about Abigail’s remains.

Based on what Clyde said before he fell into that coma, there are good reasons to think Abigail is still alive after all.

Clyde spoke about Abigail in the present tense and hinted that Chad wasn’t going to like what he had to say.

Once Clyde awakens, he may finally deliver the curveball he’s been sitting on all this time.

Clyde may admit the real Abigail is still alive – though he may not be willing to tell Chad where she is unless he’s granted his freedom.

Days has left the door open for Abigail’s miraculous return, so Clyde’s coma awakening could pave the way for that somewhere down the line.

Whatever the case, our Days predictions hint that Cat can’t compete with the love Chad had for Abigail, so their future may be derailed in the end.
