Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes) and Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) will land in bed together, so the jealous Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) countdown is on. Let’s discuss all the Days drama that’ll be unleashed once Ari is back in Salem.

DOOL fans know Ari recently shared a phone conversation with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and asked her mom for some money so she could fly home.

Gabi questioned why Ari didn’t just ask Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker), but Ari made it seem like they didn’t approve of her taking this trip.

However, there could be another reason why Ari was eager for Gabi to foot the bill.

Perhaps Sonny and Will already paid for Ari’s flight home.

Ari could’ve been lying since it seems weird for Will and Sonny to have an issue with her returning to Salem for her birthday.

In reality, Ari may be trying to get extra funding from Gabi to help out someone else – namely Doug since the criminals he’s mixed up with have come back to ask for more money.

Days spoilers suggest Ari and Doug may have a romantic history, so he may have spent some time in Arizona.

Since Doug and Ari will have a passionate encounter during the week of May 19-23, there are good reasons to think they already know each other.

It’s possible sparks could fly that quickly after meeting for the first time, but it makes more sense that they’re former flames who’ll rekindle things – especially after Ari comes through with money for Doug.

Of course, it’ll be interesting to see Holly’s reaction to Doug’s romantic entanglement with Ari.

Holly is used to Doug being head over heels for her, so Days spoilers say she’s not going to like it when she suddenly has competition.

Will Holly show up when Doug’s in bed with Ari or will their sizzling secret stay under wraps a bit longer?

Whatever the case, Holly’s in for a shock once she gets updates on the news of Doug and Ari’s involvement.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi and Will’s aged-up daughter will return to Salem starting May 20, so stay tuned for Marissa Reyes’ debut as Ari.
