Days of Our Lives Full Episode: Sophia Lies to Amy About the Adoption!

Tensions rise in Salem as secrets and half-truths come to light! Amy is misled by Sophia regarding the adoptive parents of her unborn child, setting the stage for unexpected drama.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie walks into the living room to find Holly focused on her homework. Holly greets her, mentioning that she hadn’t seen her the day before. Maggie explains that she had taken Julie on a last-minute shopping spree in Chicago in an attempt to lift her spirits, as it was her first Valentine’s Day without Doug.

Curious about Holly’s Valentine’s Day plans, Maggie asks how her date went. Holly gushes that it was romantic and perfect. However, Maggie expresses her concerns that Doug may have interrupted. Confused, Holly asks why she would think that. Maggie reveals that Julie mentioned Doug had gone to the cabin to retrieve a book, making her wonder if he had interfered. Holly clarifies that Tate had to take Sophia to the hospital, which delayed his arrival, and while she waited, Doug arrived and found an old book of poetry.

Maggie acknowledges that Doug’s discovery pleased Julie and lifted her spirits. However, Maggie picks up on Holly’s hesitancy and presses further. Holly hesitates before recalling the moment Doug confessed his feelings for her. Maggie immediately senses a problem and asks Holly if she thinks Doug’s feelings could become an issue. Holly admits that Doug’s confession shocked her, but she reassured him that she’s deeply in love with Tate. Maggie asks if the confession made Holly uncomfortable, to which Holly nods. She admits that Doug backtracked later, seemingly embarrassed. While Holly insists that it’s not a problem, Maggie points out that she’s clearly bothered by it.

Shifting the conversation, Maggie inquires about Amy and the adoption process. Holly explains that Amy has agreed to the adoption but insists on approving the adoptive parents herself. Maggie questions if Holly has considered what might happen if the adoption doesn’t go through. Holly states that in such a case, she, Tate, and Sophia will have to figure things out together.

Meanwhile, at the Horton home, Doug reflects on his conversation with Holly as he sits at a desk, reading an old poem inscribed by his grandfather. Julie interrupts his thoughts, bringing up past family memories and reflecting on the meaningful heirlooms she has left. Doug assures her that no one blames her for the missing necklace, but Julie feels guilty for accusing her own brother. She shares a letter from Steve, who insists that he was wrongly accused. Julie expresses her belief in Steve’s innocence, convinced that he would never lie to her. Doug inquires if Julie ever suspected him of the theft, but she reassures him, stating that he wasn’t even in town when the necklace went missing. Julie acknowledges Doug’s past mistakes but affirms that he has changed into a man of strength and compassion. She believes their grandfather would be proud of him.

Later, in the Town Square, Tate runs into Sophia at the café. Sophia, recovering from recent cramping, reassures him that she’s feeling better. She admits to feeling relieved about her mother’s openness to adoption. Excitedly, Tate shares good news—he has found a couple willing to adopt their baby. Sophia, curious, asks who they are. Tate reveals that Johnny and Chanel, who have struggled with fertility, are interested in adopting. Sophia is surprised but skeptical, wondering if they are truly ready for such a commitment. Tate acknowledges that Sophia’s mother must still approve the arrangement but insists that this could be the perfect solution.

As Tate discusses the potential adoption, Sophia’s expression darkens. She points out that Tate told Holly before telling her, making her feel left out of the decision. Tate realizes his mistake and apologizes. While Sophia acknowledges the importance of finding loving parents for the baby, she worries that passing her mother’s approval will be a challenge. She mentions that her mother, Amy, holds strong Christian values and might not easily accept Johnny and Chanel as the adoptive parents.

Just then, Amy approaches and overhears the conversation. “Did I just hear my name?” she asks. Sophia hesitates before answering, realizing that the truth about the adoption plan is about to be exposed. Will Amy approve of Johnny and Chanel, or will she derail the entire adoption process? Tune in to Days of Our Lives to find out!
