Days of our Lives alum Casey Deidrick was arrested over the weekend in Tennessee. The actor formerly portrayed Chad DiMera on the soap opera, a role that Billy Flynn now plays.
TMZÂ reported that Deidrick allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and took her phone. Police charged him with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call. Deidrick was booked into the Davidson County Sheriffâs Office. He posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
The incident happened on Sunday morning when Deidrick and his girlfriend got into an argument. He thought she was recording him with her phone, so he grabbed it. He told police that she wrapped her hands around his neck, but they did not find evidence of that. Deidrickâs girlfriend said that he returned her phone so she could call 911 after she promised to move out that day. 
Deidrick portrayed Chad on DAYS from 2009-2013. In 2014, Flynn won the role and made it his own.
In addition to DAYS, Deidrick also appeared on Glee, Teen Wolf, Revolution, In The Dark, and Eye Candy. Heâs also starred in television movies A Very Merry Bridesmaid and Wedding Season, to name just a few. In 2025, Deidrick has credits in Portal to Hell and The Iron Door.
