Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) has clearly drunk too much slurry water as something has turned her bad in Emmerdale.
The sweet, reformed, mother of three has suddenly become vindictive, cold-hearted, and under Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) thumb.
What happened to her? One minute she was on the straight and narrow after years of drug abuse and bad decisions, next she’s cheating on her golden retriever husband, shacking up with Joe, and pushing people out of windows.
She’s gone rogue, and with Joe’s influence still on her, she’s only going to get worse.

It’s an unsuspecting and unexpected who soul gets the brunt of Dawn’s new vicious streak when she makes a bold business decision.
Joe suggests that she and him take over Home Farm Weddings in competition with Take A Vow.
Instead, Dawn pitches herself as Belle’s new business partner and Belle is keen for the idea, but has one caveat, Dawn must never take any money from Joe to fund the business.

So now Dawn is in a tricky position as Joe offers her a loan to buy into the business – her dream, and right now she’s struggling to get her own loan. She desperately wants in on Take A Vow, but Joe’s offer might be her only option.
Belle made her swear she would not sully her company with his filthy money, but Dawn has become accustomed to getting what she wants at any cost.
